Yes, sorry, i meant it's for the London bombings.....

they want peopel not just to be silent as a mark of respect but to do it publicly as an act of defiance (towards people who want to use terror to promote their cause)

We are planning to step outside for the 2 minutes.

The whole of Europe is joining us.

I'll try to do it - going to be tricky though - it's lunchtime for the boys and I've got one of DS1's friends over for lunch too [frown]

The last time we had a silence, DS chose that exact moment to sing something, I can't remember the song now but it was a really funny one!

I think most people will think of everyone caught up in terror and war all over the world as well as thinking of those in London.

exactly beety. They don't know/understand why they have to be quiet and tbh i don't expect them do.
