Of course only those of a certain age will remember him, and Take Hart, the show he did.

Oh blimey, he was SUCH a big part of my youth! I loved Take Hart and I was always trying to create 'works of art' for the Gallery. and I loved Morph....

He was just like a favourite uncle. bless him.

BiancaCastafiore · 18/01/2009 11:14

I loved Take Hart

psychomum5 · 18/01/2009 11:15

oh no.

we were only talking about him last night with the children. DD1 likes the healthy eating ad with the morph-like figures in it, and DH and I were telling her (them) about morph and how he came about.

tony hart was great with drawing.....tis one show from my childhood I desperately wanted to be named on with the art board at the end!

RustyBear · 18/01/2009 11:15

I remember not only Take Hart, but Vision On, which he was in before & which started the 'Gallery' - my sister had a picture in the Gallery (I was very but I was never an artist)

RIP Mr Hart. I used to love the gallery but never sent anything in as I can't and never could draw.

Oh no this is very sad.

Remember those big pictures he used to paint on a field and you could only see what it was from above? I always wanted to do that. Vision On - brilliant programme.
