I (luckily by the sounds of it) only switched over after the girl had been hit by the lorry.

I suspect there may be more to this story (as to why the girls were like it in the first place, and what happened to them afterwards) that we've been told.

Something very odd was going on there - must have been horrifying to witness.

jimjamshaslefttheyurt · 25/09/2008 21:31

That must have been a suicide pact. I cannot believe how strong that woman was.

Nemoandthefishes · 25/09/2008 21:31

omg that is unbelievable adn cant believe they only got one fecking day in prison
deportation at the least selfish bints

feel for you lrwg hope no serious injuries I can't understand what makes people do things like that

LilRedWG · 25/09/2008 21:33

Just selfishness Busymum. In fact, the first question I was asked when I came round in hospital was if I was trying to commit suicide.

LilRedWG · 25/09/2008 21:35

No massive injuries - broken ribs and fractured skull. I can't remember it, but apparently I ran in front of the poor bus driver - presue I was running for the bus, I honestly don't know. I still feel extremely sorry for the guy.

Monkeytrousers · 25/09/2008 22:06

Well there was no mention of drugs. I dread to think what had happened to them to make them do that - or what has happened to them since

Just an aside, but what was that programme supposed to be about? It was Daily Mail TV!

Sidge · 25/09/2008 22:08

Wow I watched Traffic Cops and saw the whole story (well as much as we got the whole story).

Having seen it I think they must have been on drugs to be so strong and resistant to injury. The only time I have seen someone behave like that is a bloke on PCP that went bonkers in A&E when I was working there. He was almost superhuman, it was really frightening.

The time and money that must have been spent on those women was incredible.

Tinker · 25/09/2008 22:22

It's all a bit unsatisfactory without knowing where they are now and why? Shocking though.

nametaken · 25/09/2008 22:28

God that's eerie, - did you see how strong she was

unknownrebelbang · 26/09/2008 00:03

Hmm.

There we are, having a rather lovely meal in a rather nice restaurant when DH received a text to tell him this was on tonight.

His colleagues had to deal with this mire when it occurred.

I guess they don't have much traffic in Sweden.

PootyApplewater · 26/09/2008 02:15

terrifying

Furball · 26/09/2008 07:34

I was out and dh showed me when I got in, completely sickening, was like something out of Terminator the way they just kept getting up again. How horrific for drivers to endure, it was bad enough just watching.

lisad123 · 26/09/2008 07:50

must have been a pack, that sister ran in even when her twin was lying on the floor!
That is truely terrible. Those poor drivers

I rememeber when i had my car crash, the rubber neckers where really scary, but some had come to help and lucky enough some traffic officers were metres away

Silly cows, and i cant believe one day in prison!
Those poor officers, you could hear the panic in their voices shouting no

Monkeytrousers · 26/09/2008 09:19

Dittany, theres certainly a lot of missing pieces to the puzzle. For all that I am horrified by their behaviour, I am concerned for them too. About what had happened to them and where they are now.

Has anyo9ne seen a flim called 4-ever? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilya_4-ever Reminded me a bit of that.

Monkeytrousers · 26/09/2008 09:20

I'm very glad none of the law enforcement officers or people just driving along minding their business were killed or hurt.

Monkeytrousers · 26/09/2008 09:33

Are their any more details not shown on the programme Unknown??

It certainly was averse to any sympathetic interpretation for any of the 'foreign nationals' they exclusivly focused on. It was borderline racist at times.

MaryAnnSingleton · 26/09/2008 09:37

DforDiva · 26/09/2008 09:42

Is no one interested in their story - while at the same time being horrified by their behaviour?
