Yes they did but it was a monster journey and they got held up badly on the way.

So sad.

That is one of the most saddest, tragic stories that I have heard in a long, long time.

He was very ill to begin with, and they did what they felt was best under horrible circumstances.

His family can't feel at all responsible for his death, with his awful injuries he probably would never have recovered anyway and i'm sure they just wanted to bring him home. An awfully tragic story.

desperately sad story. but for him, the only outcome possible really. Can you imagine how awful it would have been for him to have woken up? It would have been unimaginably awful to suffer the terrible brain injury, and then to gradually learn that the woman you loved had already died.
At least they are together, hopefully in peace.

this has moved me to tears, 3 weeks ago they were starting their married life together. thank god none of us know what is around the corner.
