He is a sick man. Hiding behind religion like many rapists before him. He was always a vile disgusting piece of crap who had free rein to do as he pleased with women.
It makes me sick that the culture was normalised for so long.

He always sways into the court in a really arrogant way

especially the first time with shirt open baring his chest…yuk!

agree…he is the male equivalent of “grey bras”…just looks unclean

cant believe his wife isn’t smelling the coffee..how much doesn’t she need..just to be accused is enough 🤢

Edited

he's got the gift of the gab
he's talked her round
repeatedly probably
or she isn't bothered by him being that way
i think she likely knew the sort of man he was when she met him
went ahead anyway
he had a massive reputation too...
i read her sister was friend's with him and introduced him to her

The gay thing doesn’t really matter like you said it’s about consent but why even feel the need to mention it?
‘I thought he was gay, honest, I’d never be alone in a hotel room with an attractive guy if I didn’t think he was gay, honest I wouldn’t’

Because she is giving an account of her decisions on that night

Yes, I would imagine if you have kids you maybe stick at it longer when your in doubt or at least try to get the whole story, maybe thats what she is doing

i thought it was very strange how they arrived together when she was in a lemon suit…i didn’t even think she was his wife, he seemed to not know how to support and walk with her… i had to look up her to decipher if it was his wife or manager

shame on her sister!

Are you a bit dense?

she is explaining why she felt it was ok to go back to a hotel room with him. Because she thought he’d be safe if he was gay.

because she knew Neanderthals would try and blame her for going back to her room otherwise. And indeed still do.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 15/10/2026 21:32

I think that if AN argument against one of the women accusing Brand of having raped her is "well why did she take him up to her hotel room if she wasn't gagging for it then?"(to paraphrase the poster in question), it's at the very least disingenuous to belittle her given reason for feeling it would not put her at risk of rape to invite him up to her hotel room, on the whole.

Nursingcare · 15/10/2026 21:34

So a question…what would you do in his wife’s position given you have 3 kids with this man and think he has repented his sins

would you wait to see the trial?

Hard to believe when he’s always been known as a womaniser

For a while, in the 90s, he came into our office. He still looked pretty normal, no eye makeup and no back-combed hair. I got into so much trouble because he downloaded porn on my computer.

He just can’t not invite trouble can he it seems

now you’ve said it’s reminding me of a pathological liar I worked with who turned our team upside down

He's typing one handed and unfortunately being fed by the good faith responses taking him as sincere.

(Is what someone would say as they were half as quick to ascribe their own narratives to the poster as the poster is to assign intentions to women)

He wasn’t famous then - as has been said many times

It would never occur to me that a gay man would rape me. Because Im a woman, so why would he?

That is a rhetorical question by the way because rape isnt always about sexual attraction, its about power, degridation and control but you get the point surely

I would have felt safe. She felt safe, thats why she went to the room.

Yeah so the not wanting to accuse and deal with a celebrity argument is null and void then but I’d imagine it was still pretty obvious he was in to women at that time

Does it not occur to you that might lie about that to falsely accuse someone

I always thought he was a bit of a div. I can totally believe could someone think he was safe to be with, in those early days.

No

But particularly not in this case because I can imagine someone thinking he was gay

You're absolutely right, they were gagging for his hot cock and are now just chasing all the fun of the fair because having the case very publicly dragged through the courts is hilarious and profitable. Is that what you're after?

I don’t know these women but plenty are after money they don’t care how they look. Such women have no shame just like men who rape have no shame.

He wasn’t famous at that time of that incident. Have you not read the account of what happened properly? He wasn’t famous. She repeatedly said no. You seem to be ignoring the bits that don’t suit your narrative, it’s very strange behaviour.

The report I read didn’t mention that she said no so it must have been another one

I find it baffling @Yo808thay you’re more suspicious of multiple women who have separately made allegations spanning years and years, with what the CPS deems enough evidence that an expensive high profile trial is sensible, than you are of the man multiple independent women have accused and the CPS believes there is enough evidence against that prosecution is the right course of action.

You sound like a man who dislikes women, greatly.
