It's a carefully calculated farce.

Pretending to publicly fall out with Trump and not to agree with some Trumpian initiatives, is an attempt for Elon to distance himself and by extension his companies and win them back some buyer attention again as sales of Tesla's have been falling stateside and here in Europe.

Come on who didn't already know Trump was chummy with Epstein? It's throw the crowd a bone stuff. I don't buy that he's completely out of the loop and not still advising the administration or welding any influence there.

I think they agreed this plan together with their advisors. The latest back and forth looks a little too antagonistically perfect, if that makes any sense.

Interesting though. I wonder if people fall for it and the value of his companies rise again?

Can't really see how it would help to restore the reputation of Musk's companies if he tells the world that Trump's policies are all shit and that Trump is covering up his involvement in the whole Epstein thing. I mean, we've all seen Musk playing best buddies with Trump over the last few months, and Musk himself has claimed credit for getting Trump elected. So it doesn't exactly reflect well on him!

Trump announcing that he was removing government subsidies on electric cars has dropped Tesla's share price so if it is supposed to be a way to help Musk's companies it's a really stupid one.

Thing is, we've seen them both publicly be such children about other people. Musk calling the hero diver a pedo. Trump's insane rants about locking up Hilary. This is not unusual behaviour for either of them. Why think it is staged when it has been predicted that this will happen ever since they joined forces?

This made me laugh.

Think musk was behind the win, starlink might have been involved. He is so out of it he will shop himself.

Can we lock them in a room and tell them they can stay in there, until they work it out between them? See what happens...

It’s just delightful, isn’t it? It’s like watching a 3 and 5 year old set of siblings falling out with each other and both trying to tell everyone else the others naughty secrets to get them into trouble whilst forgetting that they handed them the pens and told them to draw on the walls…. I hope this goes on for days, I’m off work tomorrow - it could keep me entertained all day!

If we are lucky they'll try and declare war on each other.

Elon will set his satellites and automatic cars on Trump, whilst Trump will try and nuke Elon. Of course this won't go to plan as they'll be a court order blocking Trump and Elon will suffer a technical.
