What would your sentence be for these three?
Sentencing tomorrow.

Death occurred after her father beat her abdomen with a metal pole as a punishment for 'faking' injuries. I doubt she felt much relief.

The judge really focused on that in the sentencing speech. Saying that the last thing she would’ve felt was her own dad beating her with a pole.

I wasn’t aware until now how that snake of a stepmother would call the Dad to come home to give Sara a beating when she felt she needed one. Fucking despicable oxygen thieves.

bombastix · 17/12/2024 17:10

Because she thought Sara was a whore and dressed her like an adult woman. That woman was gratifying herself too, enjoying it. They are perverted.

I would encourage people to write to their MP about the family court. The fact is this child could have escaped if it was not for their incompetence. This is your tax paying for decisions like this, and it is your tax that will be paying for then to continue their jobs.

LizzieSiddal · 17/12/2024 17:21

Th fact this child was removed from her mother due to abuse, and given to her father who was known to hit his children and women is absolutely astonishing. I’m not one to blame SS, there work load is disgraceful, but that decision was very very wrong. I want to know why it was made and by whom.

This.

I wouldn't be surprised if the dad felt like a poor icky victim now. I can't believe the remaining children are in Pakistan with the family that brought up a monster. He will have learned beating children to a pulp from his very own family. The same family the remaining children are living with. That can surely not be in their best interest. I'm wondering if now this evil trio has been sentenced, there will be negotiations to get these children back to the UK. I'm sure there are families with the same cultural background who would be able and willing to give these poor damaged children a safe and loving home.

soupfiend · 17/12/2024 18:01

Did either of them answer questions in the end to police during the investigation? Im wondering where the information came from about what had happened to her at various points, I know a lot of it will have been deduced from the injuries and things left in the home.

DoYouAlwaysHaveToSayThat · 17/12/2024 18:02

The death penalty, but because that's not possible, I'd say prison until the day the bastards die

Well exactly, this is the same family that urged them to turn themselves in due to them being under the spotlight and getting grief from the police, not because they felt something was morally wrong about what had happened as I understand it?

NameChanges123 · 17/12/2024 18:35

Death penalty. It costs the taxpayer about £1000 per week to keep these bastards in prison.

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 17/12/2024 18:38

Babycatsarenice · 17/12/2024 13:14

Sent back to Pakistan for the death penalty instead of us having to pay for their prison care which is very expensive

Totally agree

Definitely. We have a massive crisis of lack of prison spaces. I'm sure a few can be freed up by getting rid of these scumbags.

TiredCatLady · 17/12/2024 18:48

I hope their prison stays are uncomfortable. Whilst I wouldn’t wish suffering on another human being, I don’t think these three count as human.
The things that poor child was subjected to are beyond disturbing - I can only assume they were actually enjoying it. Let the general population at them. Especially Madame “won’t give a dental impression”.
Oh and can we deport the wankstain uncle once his pathetic sentence is served? Come here to do an undergraduate degree but had an interpreter in court. Yeah sure.

Meadowfinch · 17/12/2024 19:03

The father is 42 and received a 40 year minimum sentence so he won't be eligible for release until he's at least 82.

The step mother is 30, so she'll be 62 before being eligible.

Personally I'd have liked to see whole life terms although I know that is no longer allowed. I think the judge did the best he could within sentencing guidelines. The British prison population is generally not tolerant of sadistic child killers so they're probably not going to enjoy the experience.

leli · 17/12/2024 19:07

Death penalty for me. For father and step mother. Life, real life, for uncle.

pestowithwalnuts · 17/12/2024 19:10

Death.
But as we can't have that then complete and utter full life with no perole
And here's hoping they get a rough time in prison...really rough...miserable.

Yirk · 17/12/2024 19:13

Death Penalty.

MacLoL · 17/12/2024 19:16

Which prisons will they all go to

1983Louise · 17/12/2024 19:41

We can only live in hope that they are all terrorised in prison like that beautiful little girl was. Who on earth tortures their own child, may their years in prison be a living nightmare for them. I do feel as a country that we shouldn't be afraid of reporting certain men, maybe questions should be asked why they hate girls and women so much. May she rest in peace now.

Mog65 · 17/12/2024 19:55

unsync · 16/12/2024 23:13

Whole life tariff in general prison population, no segregation. Let them feel the fear that poor girl did.

Definitely this. i I was going to add it.

NewBootsWeather · 17/12/2024 20:07

After reading the comments. I do wonder that if there was a vote, how many people would be in favour of the death penalty for cases like this.

I'm not talking about the death penalty as it once was but for cases like this I would definitely vote for it.

Bastards.

NewGreenDuck · 17/12/2024 20:13

I would not want the death penalty for these 2,because I want them to think every single day about what they did. I want them to know that everyone hates them, I hope they know what it's like to be unloved.

Vitriolinsanity · 17/12/2024 20:29

Jesus Wept that Judges summing up is the stuff of nightmares. Within the bounds of the Law the sentences have been passed down.

I cannot imagine how stricken her teachers and support staff must be and for all the pathologists, lawyers and jurors.

That poor child's name and outrage should be burned in our memories if and when these murderers reach any conceivable type of parole. They must never walk amongst us.

It's not until you start getting there that you realise that 62 is still relatively young. Marriage, sex, career changes, and if you had kids in your forties you can have young twenties or teen kids all these things are still happening in the lives of 60s women.

62 (with average health) is still decent life to look forward to, is what I am saying.

So out at 62 is still decent innings in this case.

ThisOldThang · 17/12/2024 20:52

Ian Huntley and Rosemary West are alive and well in prison. Unfortunately, I think prison justice is just a myth.

throughthewoods · 17/12/2024 20:55

62 does mean that she'll be well past childbearing age at least. Glad to see she got a stiff sentence for murder and didn't get away with the lesser charge.

I think Japan has the right approach. Death penalty for aggravated murder, e.g. murder with torture, which this was.

Gardenshed86 · 17/12/2024 21:02

I saw something in the news where Sara's mother was calling them sadists , yes they are, but where was she while her beautiful daughter was being regularly abused until she died
