I didn't follow all the updates and news very closely but thought it was a medication overdose and hot water (literal, like a jacuzzi). Just seen someone's been arrested though?

Oh I meant to quote myself sorry @cloudsss

Newsenmum · 16/08/2024 12:21

This is really sad :/ I hated how they were talking about him

It's interesting how they've named the two male doctors and MP's personal assistant in the Reuters report about this, but not the female doctor known as the "ketamine queen". Why would that be?

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 16/08/2024 13:55

They have named the ketamine queen on Sky News App Jasveen Sangha it says

Yep there is a big difference between seeing a private psychiatrist, having an informed discussion about all treatment options, one of which is ketamine according to evidence based protocols.

And seeing a 'lifestyle doctor' who uses ketamine first line and will sell you as much as you want.

I worked for a while in an area we had some super rich patients. They can be very vulnerable to this kind of crap- used to everyone saying yes to them and all problems being solvable with money.

That's really interesting.

I guess even if someone asks for something and pays for it you have to stick to licensing guidelines? Or not?

If not does that determine what sort of charges can be made?

I don't think that dealers care. And they ARE dealers behind the veneer of respectability.

It's a bit like some plastic surgeons are unethical and won't tell people to stop. Money money money.

Good point. We've seen too many celeb over plastic surgery because it's free and they get paid to advertise it.

They don't care they die young. They just get their next victim. AngrySad

I was given iv ketamine after surgery. Nearly killed me. Kept stopping my breathing.

OneFrenchEgg · 01/11/2024 19:41

I didn't know it was even a UK thing. I've never heard of it really.
