I didn't follow all the updates and news very closely but thought it was a medication overdose and hot water (literal, like a jacuzzi). Just seen someone's been arrested though?

I think if you supply someone with the drugs that cause a death you can be prosecuted for man slaughter? Don't count me on that though

Oh wow. I didn't read that, just saw an arrest and wondered why. How would they find out the dealers, I thought they were all disposable phones etc

You’ve been watching too many episodes of The Wire! Dealers will be well known in those circles.They all probably given each other up too.

It Is probably a big organisation that the police have been investigating, I got my info from TMZ apparently mathew was having Ketamine therapy(who knew) but he hadn't had a session in over a week before he died so somebody will have supplied it.

Didn't Michael Jacksons Dr get a prison sentence for his part in MJ's death ? ........although a different drug and unsure about who actually administered the drug, but potentially similar situation.

😂 yes definitely no actual real experience of current drug acquisition 😂 I thought it would be very undercover.
I knew somehow he was legitimately having Ketamine , assumed it was the heat and an accidental overdose.

Of course dealers are known. How else do people know where to buy?

In MJ's case the doctor had "administered" the drugs.

i’m guessing one of 3 scenarios

1. they are using a death to be able to bring larger charges and break up a drug ring
2. it’s a medical doctor who prescribed medication improperly and illegally
3. it’s a waste of resources and they are going after some low level dealer just because he was a celebrity

hopefully it is 1 or 2

Yes it was a whole host of anesthetic drugs that killed him

This is so sad. 5 people being charged. He was literally fed drugs nonstop for money.

He was a troubled vulnerable man and these people were responsible for his death.

The Dr got 4 or 5 years for administering the drugs.

The woman who supplied and administered the dose which killed John Belushi was also arrested and charged. I suppose if they can identity a chain of illegality then why wouldn’t there be arrests.

US courts do plea deals. I think that a lot of people would corporate with law enforcement for a lighter sentence. I don’t know if some US states still do a harsh punishment for the 3rd crime that you’ve committed ? (Three strikes )

It’s so sad to think about.

I’m not usually a celeb lover, but there was something about MP that really resonated with me and I was, and still am, very saddened by his death but not surprised.
