Absolutely shocking. A 26 year old man named as Kyle Clifford, believed to be armed with a crossbow, is being sought by police.
The dead women are aged 61, 28 and 25.

What a waste of NHS resources to save him

Unfortunately this vile POS will probably get quite a light sentence because it will no doubt be these poor women's fault for making him do it 😞

No I'd say he will get a long sentence

Iloveespressomartiniseveryday · 10/07/2024 19:41

They've caught the fucker. Sorry, I couldn't see the last page on here for some reason before I posted...

Poor girls and mum.

It sounds so trite but everything does at a time like this. At least they were together to be with each other in their last moments.

Oh my, this is a very bad take, you really may want to ask to have it deleted and have a very good long think about what these women went through.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 10/07/2024 19:42

He was found in a cemetery apparently. Some may say and others may agree “He should have dug himself a grave while he was in there.

@moonlightwatch Are you following me all around the boards then? How astonishing that I should like an argument on the news forum ie meant for argument and debate? If you have a problem with anything I have said, report me. Otherwise stop stalking me.

I was making the point that I have done well. If anyone is offended by my comment I can't help that. I certainly wasn't meaning to be unkind towards someone who has lost their children today. I wasn't boasting either.

Not At all what I said. Is it?

Go back and read.

Why not direct your anger at the killer not me.

Here we have women attacking women on here again

There has been a horrific and brutal murder, and your thought process took you to "well at least they were together", enough so that you posted ut on a public forum.

Honestly it's beyond insensitive.

DollopOfFun · 10/07/2024 19:45

If my mother was going to be killed by a crazed madman with a crossbow , i would like to be there with her to give her comfort in her final moments, rarher than her be totally alone with him

What an odd take on it. I think most mothers would take more comfort from knowing their daughter was far, far away. I certainly would

Oh my, this is a very bad take, you really may want to ask to have it deleted and have a very good long think about what these women went through.

What's upset me, is that I was originally going to write,

"At least they are all together in heaven".

As I'm a very big believer in spirituality and in heaven.im sure that they are all together over there.

Then I remembered that not everyone believes in heaven, and I would probably get ridiculed for that comment.

So I changed what I was going to say to "at least they were all together in their last moments" so as not to get attacked. And then I got attacked for that.

So I give up.

Deleted as I got the mother and daughter back to front in the original post.

I highly doubt them being together being murdered gave any of them any comfort FFS. Probably the opposite.

foreverhidden · 10/07/2024 19:49

@Kellyanne555 I just can't stop thinking about their Dad. Whilst they're altogether, his entire universe ended. He worked 25 years to provide for and keep his girls safe and within an instant, a disgruntled ex boyfriend destroyed his life. I can't take comfort the women are together knowing the pain that's left, especially as if even one of them survived it would give him reason to go on.

When will womens lives matter? This is desperately upsetting. Their last moments are unimaginable.

Surely that should be 'when will all lives matter' one group is no more special than another on gender, race, anything.

I'd have gone with the heaven quote tbh and I'm an atheist. Don't take it personally, I don't think you're a bad person, I think you wrote a response without really thinking about it.

There are no words really are there.

Apparently there is a third daughter - so at least they have each other.

Beyond nightmares.

I'm very cynical about our justice system, but he won't get a light sentence. It's too extreme and too cut and dried.

WalkingThroughTreacle · 10/07/2024 19:51

MyGladEagle · 10/07/2024 18:10

Some women?

1 in 7 men are victims of domestic abuse, that's a huge number.

NAWALT doesn't apply either.

Really? Given the context of this thread, you're getting pedantic over my choice of the word "some"? I have no words (that won't get my post moderated).
That aside, why are you assuming the perpetrators abusing those alleged 1 in 7 male victims are women (as opposed to same-sex partners or dads, step-dads etc)? Let me guess. That doesn't fit your agenda and would also require unbiased critical thinking.

@Kellyanne555 I see (kind of) what you were trying to say but this guy had two women watch while he killed their sister/mother. He then had one watch while he did that again. We do not know how slowly he did his performance. How long he waited between each kill. Who he chose to kill first and why.

Likely he made his ex girfriend watch and told her at each point that it was her fault - she made him do it.

There is no comfort to give or receive. It s only a horror show.

This is why people are suggesting you do not post that.

There is no light.

This is insane thinking.
In no way would it have benefited any of them to have been murdered so brutally in front of each other.
None whatsoever.

What a waste of NHS resources to save him

It won’t be a waste if he has to face the consequences of what he’s done. He doesn’t get to choose to die, just like Carol, Hannah and Louise didn’t get to choose to live.

Give John Hunt the opportunity to look him in the eye. To tell a judge how devastated the family are. Let them fight for the justice of a WLO. Let the other prisoners know he killed 3 innocent women.
