Absolutely shocking. A 26 year old man named as Kyle Clifford, believed to be armed with a crossbow, is being sought by police.
The dead women are aged 61, 28 and 25.

That was a f**cking execution - the absolute terror for those women is unimaginable.

You state it exactly. Carol, Louise, and Hannah Hunt were tied up and shot by a man.

May they rest in peace.

HoldingTheDoor · 10/07/2024 16:13

There is a mental health angle, of course. Because you have to be deranged to react with multiple murders to a woman telling you she wants to end the relationship.

No you just have to be a man who sees women as property and not human beings in their own right and far too many men do see women as lesser beings whom they own. They want women and women’s bodies as men always have but they also despise them.

Besides even if someone does have mental health issues, as many people do, it covers a huge range of conditions and doesn’t mean that the person doesn’t have full or partial culpability. Little short of a genuine severe psychotic episode totally exempts someone from responsibility for murder.

This is a male crime and the only possible solution will be for men (all men) to create the culture where women are respected and not considered lesser.
Those poor women, unimaginable horror for them, and the sister knows she would have endured the same if present,

This. This. This.

Among the hatred here for men there is a man who has lost his wife and 2 daughters in horrific circumstances. I can't believe the animosity being shown on here for men. It's just not appropriate.

FFS stop with the NAMALT.

my point is: that view is deranged. That so many men have it, is deranged. It is not normal.

CitrineRaindropPhoenix · 10/07/2024 15:50

No. They mean he isn't likely to kill immediately again as he deliberately murdered the poor woman who decided she didn't want to be in a relationship with him anymore, along with her mother and sister. He isn't killing at random. I

He hasn’t killed at random yet. This is obviously not a normal, rational, clear thinking, moral man. Until he’s either in handcuffs or dead he could do anything.

Shessweetbutapsycho · 10/07/2024 16:17

Roseyjane · 10/07/2024 14:27

Well they aren’t, do you know men who do this, I certainly don’t. Yes men kill as do women. Shit people are shit people. Irrelevant of gender. When we saw the recent case of women killing babies, little star to name one, did we say all women are awful. When we saw the woman charged with sexually abusing her pupils, did we say all women are awful. When we saw the woman abusing her partner and being sent to jail. Did we say fucking hell. Women are awful

no. Some men are awful as are some women.

Whichever way you want to look at it, violence is a gender based issue

Well no though, if you look at the fucking evidence of more than two women a week, it actually seems that you pretty much only absolutely need to suffer from the dangerous mental illness called ‘Being Male’.

HansHolbein · 10/07/2024 16:18

Another man doing what they do best.

Poor women. I just can’t anymore. Nobody gives a shit about us.

BustingBaoBun · 10/07/2024 16:18

It is beyond horrific and yes, as a PP said, it is literally an execution. A cold calculated execution.

Well done Farage, a friend of Trump a rapist, and a huge fan of Tate. This is as shocking if not more so as all the other stalking murdering stories I read out there.

Those poor women, my heart goes out to the family left, how they can ever live with this, I do not know.

HoldingTheDoor · 10/07/2024 16:20

Male violence against women and girls is so common and has such a long indeed ancient history that I do think it’s normal. They’re not deranged. They’re angry, pathetic, bitter and weak individuals who do not accept women as equal beings but see them as the property of men. But society feeds this view at every turn. It doesn’t just happen in a vacuum.

SpudleyLass · 10/07/2024 16:21

I want to start my comment with that my thoughts today are with Carol, Hannah, Louise, John and the as of yet unnamed third daughter.

Also just want to say that its ''funny'' - but I never see a man claim ''NAWALT''. On the contrary , they're more likely to generalise across the sex with little to back those generalisations up, whereas this is once again, another case of egregious male violence against women.

Yougotwhatstuckwhere · 10/07/2024 16:23

@Brefugee when a toddler has a tantrum because they hear the word 'NO' are there mental health 'angles'?
Because essentially what happens when one of these cretins hears the word 'NO' they have a massive tantrum. Except now they are grown, with all the adult strength and opportunity to buy weapons (WTAF Amazon 😡)
So no, no mental health angles from where I'm standing

Yet another horrific crime committed against women by a man who didn't like the word NO.
Carol, Louise and Hannah deserve justice.
Every women has a right to feel safe from male violence.

Dontcallmescarface · 10/07/2024 15:29

I'm not going to comment on the NAMALT views but I will say this. It's awful what has happened, but why are the only people being named are the victim's husband/father and the person who murdered them? Do those poor women not have names or their own identities?

Their names were reported:

Carol, Hannah and Louise Hunt

@TooMuchRedMaybe I feel no animosity towards 'men'. I feel hatred toward the evil man who has done this and huge sympathy to the man who has lost his loved ones. They are both men. Both individuals.

Every man who has a woman say "yes" when she wanted to say "no" because she feared that he would murder her has benefited from the lesson to all women that men like Kyle Clifford teach.

Every man who gets a job because a woman was too scared to even apply because she feared that she would not survive the walk home has benefited from the lesson to all women that men like Josef Puska and Wayne Couzins teach.

Every man who gets a job in construction or tech because a woman left the industry because of sexual harassment benefits from the actions of the harassers, even if he does not himself harass.

Men as a class benefit from male violence against women. Even the "good men".

saraclara · 10/07/2024 16:24

Can we please focus on the victims here? Those three women and their father (and another sister?)

Making this into a men thing is doing just what you're arguing about. Focusing on the men and not the victims.

are you getting my point? it is an abnormal reaction. So it is a mental health issue.

I know it's male violence against women.

Nanny0gg · 10/07/2024 16:24

eventully.

I just made the mistake of clicking on the trending "John hunt" tag on Twitter. I scrolled for two pages without a single person or statement referencing the women by name or the trauma they must have suffered.

I get it. I really do - we express condolences to the person left behind. But surely, in a situation like this, it's impossible NOT to also reflect on the horror for these women?

Nanny0gg · 10/07/2024 16:27

CreationNat1on · 10/07/2024 15:49

The daughter that wasn't there, is equally as deserving of recognition and sympathy as the remaining male family member. Yes, the reporting style really puts the emphasis in the husband/father and all the females are just pawns in a male world.

Possibly because he is actually known to them in real life?

For no other reason?

I can't imagine the terror those women felt at the hands of that monster but I can still sympathise with the husband/father and daughter/sister left behind

Nanny0gg · 10/07/2024 16:28

dottiehens · 10/07/2024 15:52

Clearly someone with mental health issues. Things would become clearer later but what a horror!

Really?

Or someone who can't be told 'No'?

Some are just evil, whether that's nature or nurture. And they know what they're doing

Brefugee · 10/07/2024 16:29

it is talked about a lot though. Men are diverse and there are billions of them so of course the actions of one man are not representative of all men. Silly women to think that!!

But. One women is always representative of all women (to many men. So many men) so if any woman pushes back, ever, all women are cockblocking bitches and there is NEVER NAWALT because... well, men. It is infuriating. (and yet on the many online discussions about, say Rose West, i have never felt the need to NAWALT. Perhaps we should

Inamechangedjustforthis · 10/07/2024 16:29

I can't stop thinking about this. It's the stuff of actual nightmares. What those women must have experienced in their final moments is unimaginable. And the poor husband/dad finding the scene. It's horrendous. All the comments sections of the stories are alive with people arguing about this fucker's nationality/race... Drives me mad. We all know where violent crime is concerned there's an obvious common denominator and it ain't nationality. RIP those poor women.

Runsyd · 10/07/2024 16:29

SoundTheSirens · 10/07/2024 14:21

I am so fucking TIRED of women losing their lives because inadequate men can't accept a former partner moving on. Those poor, poor women, that poor family.

What is so awful is not only the death of the girlfriend, but he killed her mother and sister too. So women have to be afraid of who our daughter or sister might get involved with now. I am so angry and sick of this shit.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 10/07/2024 16:29

I cannot imagine the horror and pain that those three women went through before they were murdered by an entitled man. RIP 💐
