News story failed to mention the key point that she had a history of epilepsy. Could well have had a seizure - I know someone whose daughter had a seizure in the bath and drowned. Terrifies me as I have epilepsy myself.

i wonder if he was suicidal after his fiancée dying so horribly, and has just wnated to leave all the speculation and gossip behind..

Natasha Collins had a lot of health problems didn't she - was her epilepsy triggered by that car accident? It's just such a sad story all round. I so hope he's done a Stephen Fry and is regrouping in a nice European hotel somewhere.
He and Kirsten on SmartTeenies and then Smart are tbh like John Noakes and Valerie Singleton for ds, we've "grown up" with them

Oh no, poor guy! Why did she have burns over her body? I thought she'd just fallen into the bath after cocaine.

She wouldn't have fallen into the bath! If they had taken Sleeping Pills then it's likely that they had been taking Cocaine earlier, had run out and were then trying to get some sleep.

I am guessing she couldn't sleep and ran a bath at some point and it was too hot?

When she was found the hot tap was still running. I understand that the burns were infact scalds from the water.

Horrible way to die. Hope she was unconscious, poor girl.

Agree with Marina, hope he is doing a Fry. (Btw, my fears about it happening to me are paranoid, I'm lucky my epilepsy is very straightforward and completely controlled by medicine - and I've only ever had seizures in my sleep. But stories about people with epilepsy dying in the bath make me shudder.)

How crass of the BBC to use such a headline, especially when the article relates to someone who works for them.

I read I report the other day saying that he was staying with her mother and they were helping each other through it.
But the mother had told friends he was crying himself to sleep every night

thats so sad. he must be in pieces. bbc use such awful headlines
