Oh yes. Didn't his wife continue bringing in her washing whilst he was in burning shed?

Why was he in the shed in teh first place?

CappuScreamO · 11/10/2007 12:10

they also reckon the first autopsy missed loads of stuff

PoshCod · 11/10/2007 12:13

Nope!

WaynettaVonBlood · 11/10/2007 12:15

very strange that wife didn't come back for this, don't you think.

But yes, am gripped to this (and to the one of the female tennis coach and the 13 year old girl) - The Times is like Woman's Own or something at the moment!!!!

franke · 11/10/2007 12:17

And she was allowed to bulldoze the shed the next day - so all forensic evidence lost. I can't see how there can be any real outcome to this apart from 'inconclusive' which I can't see being any help to anyone. Did they have kids?

foxinsocks · 11/10/2007 12:17

oh YES

the tennis coach

what do you reckon?

foxinsocks · 11/10/2007 12:18

article about shed case

PoshCod · 11/10/2007 12:19

ooh yes tennis coach too very salcaious

i rekcon i dont knwo you never know
is odd baout the wife
strnage how your sypahty goes to the brazen hussy in this instance

OP posts:
foxinsocks · 11/10/2007 12:22

at least the hussy is there, trying to stand up for finding out what happened

the wife has legged it

motherinferior · 11/10/2007 12:22

Tennis coach???

My entire office is gripped by this. We speculate, in a prurient and frenzied manner, about the logistics of it. The editor was particularly good on how you could wave goodbye through the shed window.

foxinsocks · 11/10/2007 12:23

tennis coach thing bizarre

not sure why the mum would lie about finding them naked together - surely they can get the child to say whether it was true or not?

sounds like a dreadful situation for the girl though

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/7030228.stm tennis coach case]]

motherinferior · 11/10/2007 12:23

I couldn't get over the police saying 'oh yes, it was a bit odd she bulldozed it, but we didn't do anything...' I mean don't they read thrillers, ffs?

WaynettaVonBlood · 11/10/2007 12:23

re: the tennis coach....the press always just referred to the mother coming home and seeing them engaged in oral sex...yesterday morning on the train reading the paper and practically sprayed my coffee all over the carriage when I read that prosesecution council said something like "I put it to you that the mother came home and found you and X engaged in oral sex in the 69 position" - I am amazed they were so graphic!!

V v strange mother didn't report it for 10 monhts
Rqually strange tennis coach had girl's knickers in her drawer, and received amourous texts and did nothing bout them.....

foxinsocks · 11/10/2007 12:23

tennis coach case

Sheherazadethegoat · 11/10/2007 12:27

it is all v. midsommer murder, you can practically hear teh tinkly music in the background. other than that v. sad of course.

CappuScreamO · 11/10/2007 12:28

if my shed was burning I would get my washing in

otherwise it would get all smoky with bits on and I would have to wash it again

perfectly reasonable behaviour imo

motherinferior · 11/10/2007 12:29

DP reckons she slugged him one with something heavy (as you do on these occasions), not necessarily meaning to kill him, he conked out, she dragged him to shed. Which trumped my idea of Crazed Stabbing (which was roundly discounted in my office too).

foxinsocks · 11/10/2007 12:29

I don't know how they buggered up the first autopsy.

Did the wife get a big insurance pay out?

CappuScreamO · 11/10/2007 12:31

yes mi your dp could be right

of course you would drag him to shed

you would not burn down your kitchen it would ruin the tiles
