The old thread takes too long to load.

Lets hope this is the one that contains the good news that she has been found alive and well.

OP posts:
thirtiesmum · 21/05/2007 08:16

I wondered how long till one of her sad croies came on...Your pathetic.
You seem to think i bullied on one thiread.
Well lets say thats true...Compare to the tens of threads with you and evil enid in YOUR coven...Noone wants to stand up to you witches.
Iam quite new to mumsnet and it stands out a MILE...its pathetic.

thirtiesmum · 21/05/2007 08:19

That should be cronies...
"but our enid isn't a troll honestly"
Iam LMAO...If she isn't a troll then god only knows what a troll is.??

Lets see...Enid thinks the mccanns are a "bit weird"..
I think they are trying to find their daughter the best way they can.

OnlyinAmerica · 21/05/2007 08:24

Enid said this thread was weird

I'm sure she has the utmost sympathies for the McCanns, as we all do

Hulababy · 21/05/2007 08:59

Surely it is obvious why they are using the kid's club? Especially in the first couple of days. They need time away from their younger children so they can deal with the police and other groups regarding finding Madeleine - something that would be difficult with two 2yos, as well as boring for the little ones. And also to have some time to themselves to let their emotions out without scaring the babies.

Not odd at all. More likely necessary.

Do think some of the posts here are very unfair, judging the parents for things we don't even know that they did/do. Surely those spectulations are just as bad, infact even worse, that the other speculations int hese threads?

CODalmighty · 21/05/2007 08:59

mayaeb htey need the kdis club so they can howl at the walls

morningpaper · 21/05/2007 09:02

Well quite Cod

I can't even keep the house clean with small children around, how exactly are they supposed to be managing and co-ordinating a global search and PR campaign to find their child while giving their full attention to 2 year old twins?

CODalmighty · 21/05/2007 09:03

thats hwt id be doing.
seriously htough
gievthem a break

Budababe · 21/05/2007 09:11

They are dammned for whatever they do at the moment really aren't they? I too totally understand why they are using the kid's club. It must be so hard to try and keep it all together with the twins.

Blandmum · 21/05/2007 09:12

I know that there have been times in dh's illness when I have needed friends to take my kids for the day so that I can just scream and cry. Often you can't control your emotions, and it isn't good for children to see their parent in this stste, it just scares them and upsets them.

I just feel sorry for these poor people. They have to do what they can to keep their heads above water.

WelshBoris · 21/05/2007 09:28

It is weird though.

Seriously guys, step back from the PC and spend time with your beloved children instead of googling for clues and criticising the McCanns.

montmerency · 21/05/2007 09:34

Both my children go to nursery full time and when we go skiing they go to a ski/play club - t'is the nature of the beast. Anyone from a dual income family knows the guilt of leaving your child to be cared for by others as you strive to pay the mortgage.

If people are going to condemn the McCanns for holiday clubs then they will have to condemn every family like mine!

When did MN get so spiteful? We're all parents here - we all know how hard it is to balance everything against pressures of modern living.

Equally I imagine the McCanns don't want the twins exposed to the discussions that they will behaving as regards the whereabouts of Madeleine - so kid's club seems like a good idea to me.

LIZS · 21/05/2007 10:16

budababe I agree with you . Also think they believe it gives the younger ones , who are used to being at nursery in UK some semblance of continuity and normality which appear misguided but presumably they gain comfort from it and it gives them time to focus on other things. However from the mixed reactions on here I think it may be badly judged to formally publicise their routine, I bet they haven't done it all day, every day .

EnidTheInvisible · 21/05/2007 10:19

I will reiterate, for the hard of reading among us, that of course I didn't say the McCanns were weird.

I thought the news article in the Mail was weird.

Some people will only 'see' what they want to 'see' though

EnidTheInvisible · 21/05/2007 10:21

thirtiesmum, you owe me an apology.

I won't hold my breath though

lol

you lot honestly

ledodgy · 21/05/2007 10:49

Oh ffs enough of the Enid bashing. The link to the article asked "What do you think of this?" Enid answered "I think it is weird". In short she found the article weird nothing else!

EnidTheInvisible · 21/05/2007 10:52

thanks ledodgy - I wouldn't waste your breath tbh

people love to have a scapegoat

OnlyinAmerica · 21/05/2007 11:19

EnidTheInvisible · 21/05/2007 11:21
