Diana documentary - do you want Charles and Camilla as king and queen?

I have always been a monarchist :) but the behaviour of Charles and Camilla towards Diana was a disgrace and I really think if he gets the top job, he will make Camilla a Queen. Now there are reports of the Queen retiring and William and Harry's staff being fired so Charles can spin/take over. Do they never learn? Charles will make a lot of people become republicans, skip him and the monarchy is safe.

Well Charles didn't stay with D did he? But all is forgiven, he was a Prince and not a Muslim.

Maybe the Dodi thing was engineered by Al Fayed to stick two fingers up to the Queen.

I agree that, by the end, Diana was a laughing stock in many people's eyes. Who knows how it would have ended Up?

I think it would have been interesting had she lived. I think she'd have been jealous of Kate and her family.

Diana and Charles were divorced before her death. He has remarried, Camilla will be the wife of the king and hence the queen. This would still have been the case had Diana worn a seatbelt and not got in a car with a drunk.

Had Diana had a baby with Fayed, no difference. It would not have been in the succession.

Will not affect me at all so I really don't care who is on the throne.

Yeah...Camilla as Queen, or consort or whatever....Charles as King. Diana? She wasn't a member of the RF..remarried perhaps, with kids maybe..living in America? Americans seem to like her.

If you think about the people taking up column inches in the press just now, e.g. the Made in Chelsea brigade and the likes, Diana would be more hounded popular than ever.

Whether we want C&C to be king and queen is irrelevant. The will be.

She'd be 20 years older now though...may not have quite the same appeal...hard to tell.

It's interesting to see Diana as part of history...and what effect, if any, she's had on the Monarchy and how they are perceived.

I like C & C. Not the music factory but, the future King & Queen.

I wouldn't have a problem with Charles being King. He's not a monster just divorced man in his late 60's like millions of others. Personally I think when the Queen retires (pops her clogs) Charles will step aside in favour of William. William is untainted by any form of scandal and will be able to reign for decades. Britain will have a young active monarch for the first time in decades who's attitudes are more in line with the country.
