This is a thread following the legal and ethical questions raised by the recent court case involving Charlie Gard.

Please could we refrain from insulting or otherwise "bashing" his parents. It isn't in the spirit of Mumsnet and will get the threads removed.

Please could we also remember that at the heart of this case is a terminally ill baby and his heartbroken parents. There are those participating in and watching this thread for whom these issues are painful. Please let's try and be mindful of them when we post. This isn't a place for name calling or trivialising the very real pain they feel. Many parents of severely disabled children are on here.

I had to stop reading the anti-vax crap because it angered me so much. I have seen some very, very sick babies at work with measles and have known of three babies with whooping cough need to be ventilated and sent to ITU and one of those died.

Some people just have no clue about the risks they take with their children's lives.

That's right writer absolute ignorance. As far as I am concerned a lot of those on CA are really sad, sick in the head, people. How they can be so misinformed and ignorant is beyond belief. There are trolls on there goading everybody and boy, the trolls are having the time of their sad lives on that site.

Highlights are the woman who knows three different kids who stopped talking after the MMR, and later were diagnosed with autism.. the level of ignorance is frightening

WeDoNotSow,because of Adrew Wakeman, I know children that did not have vaccines and have Autism, the level of ignorance is beyong silly.

Yes, the fact that he was wholly discredited and struck off after that seems to have passed them by.

Quite surprising how many of their children had such bad reactions to vaccines when although children do it is very rare.
Doctors are trying to kill Charlie, doctors are injecting their children with a cocktail of harmful and potentially life threatening chemicals.
I know an anti vaccer. She is a qualified and experienced HCP who is intelligent and well educated.
Since she stopped working due to ill health she posts many things on FB, usually from the US, where children have been removed from their parents by corrupt officials for spurious reasons.
