From now on the race becomes winner take all. If Trump wins Florida on March 15, it is probably all over.

no more wars in the middle east???? How is that going to work?

claig · 15/03/2016 12:49

'But the whole drive seems to be that he is anti-establishment'

Trump is anti the current Establishment. Much loved Tony Blair is "anxious", that says it all.

If the Establishment is common sense and does good for the people and works in the people's interests then there is no point being anti it. Clearly Blair will not be part of it.

'And if Presidents can't be that free, how will Trump make everyone else fall in line with him?'

Trump is as free as it is possible to get because he is totally independent of them because he is a billionaire. That is why you can watch the video of how all of these "bought and paid for" political operatives (none of whom are independently wealthy billionaires and all of whom work for the money of wealthy donors and billionaires) have been tasked with trying to stop Trump for their bosses.

'how will Trump make everyone else fall in line with him?'

Because America is the greatest and strongest country on the planet and all the puppet political classes across the planet will have to wake up and smell the coffee when Trump takes over.

'How will he deal with free organisations? Congress? Wealthy businesspeople? '

Trump is the opposite of how the desperate media has painted him. He is not even a "real conservative" and is liberal on lots of issues. He will get along with everyone just as he has got along with everyone in business. He will end the Washington gridlock, appoint the Sheriff possibly and lots and lots of brilliant people and business minds and get things done quickly. He says "politicians are all talk, no action" and that they are "puppets", it won't be like that when he takes charge.

'Wealthy businesspeople? ''

There will be some who will be serving jail time. He will go after the crooks and cheats who robbed the American people, who were "bought and paid for" by foreign interests against the US national interest and he will go after the wealthy people who funded movements which disrupted the democratic rights of the American people. But all law abiding business people will be encouraged to create more business and jobs for the American people.

'Will he have to curb freedoms?'

Unfortunately, it looks like he might. He has said he wanst to change the libel laws to make them a bit more like our UK libel laws so that newspapers can be sued and cases can be won if they intentionally print false stories. But Trump also has libertarian advisers who will advocate for freedoms. Trump is not a libertarian like Rand Paul, but he will probably be advised by libertarians too.

no more wars in the middle east????
Anything is possible for the Messiah, you heathen.

Be a believer. Halo (I really like this one)

claig · 15/03/2016 12:52

'no more wars in the middle east???? How is that going to work?'

He will sort Isis out "in two days" he says, but it may take a week or two longer, but after that, no more wars and regime changes like Hillary did in Libya. He will end the wars by getting on with the leaders and the Russians. He said the world would have been a better place if the "politicians had gone to the beach" instead of launching Mid East wars and the world would have been much better off and safer if Saddam and Gaddafi were still in charge.

Does he not come across as a fantasist to you?

Lweji · 15/03/2016 13:00

A week or two later...
So, you're a realist, then. Grin

Lweji · 15/03/2016 13:01

Sorry, not later, longer.

claig · 15/03/2016 13:06

'Does he not come across as a fantasist to you?'

Do you mean like Tony Blair? Not at all!

Trump says that politicians are "all talk, no action", all fantasy. Trump is about reality, he has built a billion dollar business empire, he has built buildings and created employment, he has done real things. Trump will fix America and fix the deficit and sack the puppets. That is not fantasy, that is the nightmare reality of the current elites. That may be why Blair has said he is "anxious".

'So, you're a realist, then'

"Keeping it real" is my motto.

You will be surprised how quickly Trump sorts things out. The system doesn't have to be like it is now, the economy doesn't have to be like it is now. Remember that Trump is not Blair, Trump will get things done.

I wonder if he could come and sort my country. I figure that he'd do it in one morning. When he has a little time between the election and the inauguration. It's a small country. And easier than ISIS.

Still, not sure how he's going to put down ISIS out of action. Calling them a funny name?

ElementaryMyDear · 15/03/2016 13:17

I love the idea that sorting out world politics can be sorted out just by getting on with other leaders. If only someone had thought of that at some point in the last two thousand years.

claig · 15/03/2016 13:18

'I wonder if he could come and sort my country.'

He will be busy sorting the United States out but he may be able to help if he gets any time left over. Where is it?

'Still, not sure how he's going to put down ISIS out of action'

Isis are not what they are cracked up to be by the media. The United States, in conjunction with Russia, will sort them out so fast, people will start to ask why the current elites couldn't manage it much quicker.

'If only someone had thought of that at some point in the last two thousand years.'

Absolutely, unfortunately they never had access to what Trump calls "the second greatest book in history [after the Bible]", Trump's book "The Art of the Deal". Trump will make deals with everyone which are fair and to their mutual interests.

OP posts:
Lweji · 15/03/2016 13:21

Yes, but how?
Putting down their leaders?
Getting on with them?
Carpet bombing the entire territory?
Cutting down their financing from the establishment is a must, I expect.

Lweji · 15/03/2016 13:21

Oh, claig, I think you're missing loads of Wink from your posts.

claig · 15/03/2016 13:28

'Yes, but how?

By action, not talk. He will probably do a deal with Putin and Assad to get them to sort them out and if necessary he will get the US to help.

Putting down their leaders?

Absolutely

Getting on with them?

No chance. He is going to wipe them out and do it quickly.

Carpet bombing the entire territory?

No. He has said he will get the best generals and ask them to come up with a plan to do it very, very quickly. That may mean lots of ground troops or he may be able to get the Russians and Assad to do it for him. I don't know how he will do it, but I believe he will do it.

"Cutting down their financing from the establishment is a must, I expect.'

Everybody knows that certain rich sources have been funding these Jihadis and Trump will go after the financiers in those countries and they will have to stop supporting them very quickly.

So, mostly talk.

It seems to be that he's great at delegating...

Where is the action?

Putting down their leaders?

Absolutely

I didn't mean as in killing them, btw. I meant as in putting down like he's been doing his political opponents. As in put downs.
But killing them achieves very little. In fact, I expect the seconds in command would even help...

claig · 15/03/2016 13:55

'Trump has mentioned the Sheriff in a few of his talks (can you tell I'm on reduced hours at the moment?'

OhYou, that is a different Sheriff. The one Trump mentions in his speeches is the legedary Sheriff in Arizona, Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Sheriff Arpaio has endorsed Trump.

The US has got lots and lots of brilliant and competent people and Trump is going to select the best ones and put them in charge. It won't be like the incompetence that we are used to. America will be fixed, its deficit will be slashed very very quickly.

OP posts:
OhYouBadBadKitten · 15/03/2016 14:03

oh blimey. More than one Sheriff?

Lweji · 15/03/2016 14:04

How many sheriffs are there, then?

Lweji · 15/03/2016 14:08

Inspired by the sheriff, look what I found.

is it really possible that Donald trump could be president????? [Part 2]
Lweji · 15/03/2016 14:12

This is a site that keeps on giving them.

I think I'll use it as main source of news on Trump.

claig · 15/03/2016 14:14

'How many sheriffs are there, then?'

I don't know how it works or what a sheriff really is, but I think counties have sheriffs, but I don't know how many counties there are.

Lweji · 15/03/2016 14:40

3,080 sheriffs as of January 2015.

How many is Trump talking about, though?

Is it this one?

"Trump said Sunday that he is weighing helping to pay for McGraw's legal fees.
But on Monday, Trump repeated to CNN's Wolf Blitzer that he does not condone violence at his events."

I thought he had said at a rally he'd pay the legal fees of anyone who assaulted protesters. He should be sued for not fulfilling his promise. McGraw certainly should. Is there any establishment billionaire who would like to help him?

ElementaryMyDear · 15/03/2016 14:53

Hang on:

At 12.52

He will end the wars by getting on with the leaders and the Russians

At 13.28:

Yes, but how? ... Getting on with them?

No chance. He is going to wipe them out and do it quickly.

Is completely contradicting yourself within the space of 40 minutes a record?
