LumelaMme · 07/02/2016 13:07

On New Year's Eve women in Cologne were amongst those who were sexually assaulted and robbed in mass attacks.
This is a link to the last thread which has links to all the others.

Some of us have begun a petition asking the government to uphold women's rights and freedoms:

THE PETITION _ Please sign and share
The petition

We also hope that tomorrow, Monday 8th February, David TC Davies MP will be on MN for a web chat between 1pm and 2pm - it should be a sticky on either Chat or In The News. David was one of the few MPs who has shown any interest in this whole issue and who has responded sympathetically to those of us concerned about women's rights in a changing world.

NewStatesman the Guardian article is good. It's the first time, I have been reading and nodding in agreement to an article in the Guardian in a long time.

I have to work tomorrow, so will probably miss out on the DD chat. I will read the thread afterwards with interest though,

sorry LumelaMme Blush. Either way, it was a great post! {grin}

januarybrown1998 · 07/02/2016 17:04

Hello all, delighted to see this thread going strong.

Mr Davies, I've got a question for you. Is the FEMM group of which the 'feminist' Mary Honeyball is a member representative of the EU parliament in that anyone wishing to discuss the repercussions of Cologne et al will be dismissed as a 'racist'?

If so, where do you think these concerns might legitimately be raised to people who are not afraid to have uncomfortable thoughts and grown-up debate?

vladimirsoftless · 07/02/2016 17:04

"The pensioner, whose daughter Sylvia was a helper working with refugees, had been walking her dog alongside the canal in Traiskirchen, where Austria's largest refugee centre is located. The 72-year-old woman, identified only as Christina F., said: "It was a really hot day and I decided to take my dog for a walk along the Schwechat River, and saw two young men swimming there."

She said that one of the young men had reached out his hand to her, asking her to help him onto the bank, which she did. She said: "Suddenly, I felt a blow from behind."

She was grabbed and then pushed to the ground, and the attacker put his hand over her mouth and used his other hand to tear off her clothing.

A friend of the old woman, Hans Vesely, 72, said: "The dog that she had with her was 13 years old and was sadly not up to protecting his mistress from the attack."

The badly injured woman, who weighs just 48 kilos (7.5 stone) and had been unable to fight the men off, managed to get herself home where she locked the door. She was found later by a friend who saw her bruises from the beating, and she confessed what had happened.

"She is not the same woman anymore. She doesn't trust being left on her own and does not leave home, and she's become very weak since the incident," Vesely said." from the article linked to above. ffs. animals. Shock Shock Shock what the fuck is wrong with these disgusting creatures??????? how can Austria not chuck him the hell out?

One of the problems is that current laws and immigration rules are not designed for the fast and violent influx of migrants. But instead of dealing with this as a meter of fucking urgency, they try to minimise and sweep under the carpet and lovely leftist remind us sillies to be tolerant, and not to hate. How??? How not to hate such people? and how not to hate the Europeans in charge who let this happen?

criminal law and immigration law needs to be tackled and changed now so criminal migrants can be chucked out, pronto.

vladimirsoftless · 07/02/2016 17:08

I think of this elderly woman and of the young girls and boys are are raped in the wake of this exodus and I feel like despairing. Emily Widow what are your views on this occurrence? I wonder how many native Austrians rape rail elderly women just because they happen to walk by with the elderly dog.

This woman's daughter was helping refugees and the family is thanked in this inhumane way. Fuck all the people who excuse men who rape as trauma victims, fuck them, fuck you.

vladimirsoftless · 07/02/2016 17:10

*frail elderly women. I am so angry.

BrittEkland · 07/02/2016 17:12

I think they cannot deport any scumbag if the sentence they receive is less than 3 or 4 yrs. I say INCREASE the sentence so that it invokes deportation process.

vladimirsoftless · 07/02/2016 17:16

Mr Davies, I also got a question for you.

Would you say that the unprecedented ongoing mass influx of single male migrants entering Europe in an uncontrolled fashion brings with it an increased incidence of sexual violence?

And would you say that native European citizens who are vulnerable to being raped (boys, girls, women, elderly) are at increased risk of being raped because of this mass exodus?

If yes, how do you suggest we British politicians can deal with this effectively? thank you Thanks

BrittEkland · 07/02/2016 17:30

Well, here we have it. The inner workings of a Muslim man's mind and the reasons he believes he can rape.

www.gatestoneinstitute.org/7367/islam-sword-christians

My question is - if the man is married, does he still feel entitled to rape a Muslim woman because she is unaccompanied? If so, what is the reason for the rape, as presumably he is getting sex on tap at home? Answers on a postcard.

"Even in Western nations, Muslims from Pakistan believe it is their right to rape and sexually abuse "infidel" women – or even Muslim women if they are out at night unaccompanied or not wearing a veil. Of course a veiled woman might also be attacked, but then the rape would be the same as for a non-Muslim rapist -- he wants what he wants and that's that. But if she is a Muslim out on her own, he can rationalize away or justify the rape as "his right" since she is acting like an infidel, so supposedly deserves what she gets.

"Christian girls are only meant for one thing, the sexual pleasure of Muslim men." Wilson Chowdhry, human rights activist.

'Mr Davies, I've got a question for you. Is the FEMM group of which the 'feminist' Mary Honeyball is a member representative of the EU parliament in that anyone wishing to discuss the repercussions of Cologne et al will be dismissed as a 'racist'?'

January - YES!

I would like to know that. Is that the general consensus amongst members or is Mary Honeyball one of a kind.

januarybrown1998 · 07/02/2016 17:55

Inkata, don't despair, I'm sure as we speak she's replying to our emails to explain that it as a misunderstanding and that of course she cares about the safety of European women. After all she states proudly that she's a pro-European feminist.

Which is good, because anyone watching that clip would conclude she's an anti-European mysoginist.

Racist? For asking how women are to be protected?Angry

BrittEkland · 07/02/2016 18:08

vlad ...... You surely don't believe Merkel's reason for allowing such a sudden influx of foreigners into Germany that she gave last year, do you?

I did not believe her then and don't now.

vladimirsoftless · 07/02/2016 18:45

To be honest i don't know what to believe. I just know that it is insane to have more than a million migrants crossing into Europe in 2015 alone; many clearly without an understanding of basic decency or any awareness of what is right and wrong, footloose, horny with nothing to loose, ready to grope, rape and humiliate and commit a range of other crimes.

Desperate people fleeing from Syria and Iraq should be handpicked, women, children, sick and disabled first or selected families together. Everything else is the gradual destruction of our society.

On a different note why are all these men leaving their families behind? Why don't they fight for their countries?

And why are we not supposed to talk about it? People who weren't before will become racist and xenophobic because they are told, never mind, it's just rape, consider the poor men they have needs and human rights.

AMouseLivedinaWindMill · 07/02/2016 18:54

I feel the same Vlad, make sure the actual true victims of the horror in syria are helped as much as possible.

Sad to think aid and help and so much more could be going to mere chancers from places like morocco and algeria. Angry

help those who need our help.

AMouseLivedinaWindMill · 07/02/2016 18:55

vlad on the other thread someone lived in morocco and from the top of my head, said young men have simply taken advantage of the syria crisis to try their luck in a new land...

BrittEkland · 07/02/2016 18:57

Bilal Kareem, an American, made this vid called How Do Syrian Women Feel about the Men Leaving for Europe as Refugees? It's mostly negative against the menfolk who left them.

Last year a young Syrian or Iraqi man was asked on camera why he left and he replied that he did not want to be forced to join the army and to fight. I want a life, he said.

AMouseLivedinaWindMill · 07/02/2016 19:00

Did any one see the This morning special on Syria Refugee camp?

On it a lady said " I dont want to risk the journey to Europe, I heard children die on the crossing, we have come here to escape death ( the camp) I couldnt risk my childs life, they are everything to me."

britt how would feel if all your men folk left you - I would be pretty pissed off too!

but this is where is gets hazy.....

are all the single young men we see from syria? I dont think so.

MariscallRoad · 07/02/2016 19:04

TheNewStatesman thanks for the article.

Woodhill · 07/02/2016 19:13

The way the elderly in hospital are treated makes me angry. After all they have probably made a far greater contribution to the exchequer but this seems to count for nothing.

vladimirsoftless · 07/02/2016 19:26

how is the web chat going to work? Are any poster prepared to 'lead' it? As MN is not involved maybe it would be great to guide Mr Davis.. I have to be at work, sorry.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 07/02/2016 19:29

I've just realised that the attack on the young lad at the swimming pool is said to have happened on 2 December

So how come it's only just being reported ... ??

LumelaMme · 07/02/2016 19:30

vlad, I've emailed David Davies suggesting that he start the thread as then his posts will be highlighted and so easier to follow. I reckon he's perfectly capable of looking after himself, TBH.

MariscallRoad · 07/02/2016 19:31

Woodhill this makes me agry too and also the way the disabled are treated in hospitals whether children or adults makes people very angry. Their parents of children also have paid their taxes and the disabled I know work and pay taxes too.

Moreshabbythanchic · 07/02/2016 19:49

Puzzled I read that it was not reported to protect the child but I have my doubts as to who they were really protecting.
