Apparently it violated their air space and ignored repeated warnings.

There are rich people with morals and a sense of duty and a respect for ordinary people who aren't "laughing at our expense
I can believe that, but it feels as if they are a snowball in hell compared to the weight and entrenchment of the established order where ordinary people are just livestock to be milked by the rich and powerful.

Thanks for putting the case for Trump, it sounds plausible, I should pay more attention to what's going on over there!

Lweji · 26/11/2015 10:20

Interesting that you use adverts as your evidence for what Trump is about...
I think he's dangerous, actually. He's playing the sexist and racist card (or he actually is, which is more likely) as well as cleaner than white, which I doubt.

I'm sure he's very clever, but many clever people can be downright stupid or dangerous in other areas.

CoteDAzur · 26/11/2015 10:59

LOL @ Trump as a rich but moral man who will "clean house".

Where is iPhone's crying from laughter smiley when you need it? Grin

You said exactly the same thing about UKIP: They will clean house, the people like them but "the elite" are trembling in their boots etc.

claig · 26/11/2015 11:03

'You said exactly the same thing about UKIP'

I can't be right all of the time, but a 99% accuracy rate is not bad going.

FreeWorker1, thanks for that fascinating article about Erdogan's son on zerohedge.

CoteDAzur · 26/11/2015 11:13

"spending billions of US taxpayer money on wars across the planet. It can't go on and Trump will stop it."

So you actually believe that in the (very unlikely) event that Trump becomes President, US will lead an isolationist policy and shut down its sphere of influence around the world? Hmm

What - close military bases in various countries, call back its soldiers in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc and let these areas fall into Russia's hands?

Will US be quitting NATO, then? Such a clever bunny like you must surely be aware that much of US's military commitments are there because of NATO deployment.

"He says he will get on with Putin"

Oh yes, isn't that totally believable. Don't make me laugh.

CoteDAzur · 26/11/2015 11:16

99%? LOL Grin

You are nowhere near even 5% accuracy, which is not surprising given your preferred news outlets Daily Mail and Fox News. And conspiracy theory websites. Let's not forget those.

I truly hope that someone is paying you to promote these ludicrous views and "analyses" on MN. It's depressing to think that you might genuinely believe them.

claig · 26/11/2015 11:24

'So you actually believe that in the (very unlikely) event that Trump becomes President, US will lead an isolationist policy and shut down its sphere of influence around the world? '

Yes, if they don't stop Trump, then that is what will happen because Trump is in the tradition of the legendary real conservative, Pat Buchanan, where an America First polcy will be pursued not an internationalist UN global warming policy. America will retrench, impose trade tariiffs and follow a "fair trade, no free trade" polcy as Trump says. America will stipulate the rules and everyone will follow and America will do deals under Trump with Putin and China etc and everyone will know exactly where they stand. There will be no more underhand support for regime change and all teh rest of it, no toppling of secular regimes fighting Islamic fundamentalism but deals will be made with them instead and they wil follow America's rules and the whole world will benefit from the stability and the growth and prsoperity that will follow. Deals will be made to create a new financial system that will keep America rich but will also share the wealth across the planet.

'What - close military bases in various countries, call back its soldiers in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc and let these areas fall into Russia's hands? '

No, the zero sum game of constant conflict will end as international deals are done to promote trade and business and investment and coal fired power plants for India etc so that humanity prospers rather than exploiting of regions for the profit of the 1%

'Will US be quitting NATO, then? Such a clever bunny like you must surely be aware that much of US's military commitments are there because of NATO deployment. '

No, but the military expenditure will be able to be scaled down as Trump gets on with Putin so that Trump and Putin can divert money from the military industrial complex back to creating jobs and infrastructure for the people.

'"He says he will get on with Putin"

Oh yes, isn't that totally believable. Don't make me laugh.'

I think it is believable. I don't believe that Putin is a psycopath and like Hitler as the corporate media tells us just as I didn't believe that about Gaddafi who created one of teh richest countries in Africa with good education and health and which has now been destroyed and handed over to Islamists after Sarkozy and the career politicians destroyed it.

claig · 26/11/2015 11:28

Trump is no career politician, which is why the people love him and the elites and their career politicians fear him.

claig · 26/11/2015 11:36

When Trump takes charge, on the first day he is going to call all the career politicians and servants into a room and he is going to ask them what they have been up to and where the money went. Then there will be lots of "you're fired", "give the moat back to the people" and "you're going to jail". It's called "cleaning house". Trump is in it for real, he is taking their abuse for real because they are in meltdown at what he might do.

"We're sick of career politicians," Marenda Babcock, 60, a Trump supporter in Indiana, said at a focus group sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg Center last month. "We did what we were supposed to do. We wrote the letters, we made the phone calls, and they did not listen. And we're out to clean house."

CoteDAzur · 26/11/2015 11:48

LOL. You seem to actually believe the nonsense you are writing.

Trump is about as likely to "take charge" as Sarah Palin was. Both are self-important nut jobs with the intellectual capacity and emotional maturity of a sausage dog.

claig · 26/11/2015 11:53

They've got their climate conference in Paris next week. They will all be there, all the career politicians, but Trump and the people won't be there.

They will all make their statements about shutting down industrial production but India will bravely ignore them and open up more coal-fired plants.

They will read their press releases but the people won't be listening, instead they will tune into Fox News to hear what Trump has to say. In Paris conference rooms, they will all huddle together - Obama, Hollande, Merkel etc - with a remote control switched to Fox News to hear what Trump has to say. He already tweeted the following

"This global warming BULLSHIT has got to stop"

which sent their blood pressure through the roof, but the world waits to see what Trump will say next. Fox News ratings will go through the roof, people will celebrate like its 1999 and the elite won't know where it all went wrong for them.

claig · 26/11/2015 11:54

'You seem to actually believe the nonsense you are writing'

Absolutely, it's impossible to be so coherent if you don't believe it.

claig · 26/11/2015 11:58

I think Sarah Palin and McCain and Romney were all meant to lose. As Trump says about Ammerica "we always lose, we nevr win any more" but Trump is not part of the career politician game, Trump intends to win, America will win and the people will win.

Trump 2016! Let's "clean house".

CoteDAzur · 26/11/2015 11:58

You are not coherent, really. HTH.

Anyway, enjoy spamming MN with half-baked conspiracy theories and ludicrous interpretations of "news" from Daily Mail and Fox News.

CoteDAzur · 26/11/2015 12:02

"Trump intends to win, America will win and the people will win. Trump 2016! Let's "clean house""

Hmm

Oh yes. Sounds just like what you were saying about UKIP.

I wish it were possible to have a conversation about world affairs on here without you spamming every thread with a billion posts full of such gibberish.

claig · 26/11/2015 12:11

Don't you understand why their Republican PACs are preparing to spend millions and millions to stop Trump when he is by far the most popular candidate amongst Republicans? They are scared to death of him because they know he is going to "clean house" and lots of people will end up behind bars.

That's not SPAM, that explains why they are all against him when he is the most popular candidate amongst Republican voters. That's not Guardian analysis, that's real analysis.

Utterlyclueless · 26/11/2015 12:14

Claig sorry but are you a political correspondant? It seems like you would like to be ..... Brew

Istanbulla · 26/11/2015 12:16

Hands up who feels ok with Trump having the nuclear codes?

claig · 26/11/2015 12:18

'Claig sorry but are you a political correspondant? '

No, but I like politics and like trying to understand how the world works and I support people like Trump whose principles and vaues are close to what I think is right. I want the crooks and spinners and warmongers out of power and I want growth and prsoperity for the people and politics is where all of those things are made to happen.

CoteDAzur · 26/11/2015 12:28

You are not likely to learn about Trump's real principles and values from his campaign ads on Fox News.

What a joke.

claig · 26/11/2015 12:31

'You are not likely to learn about Trump's real principles and values from his campaign ads on Fox News.'

Fox don't like Trump. Fox is a spin channel who support the Republican puppets. The only reason I watch Fox is to see Trump interviewed live because unfortunately we don't see enough of him on Channel 4 News.

claig · 26/11/2015 12:36

The Republicans say that Trump is not a real conservative and they are right he is not like them. On his latest interview on Fox last night he said that he used to be a Democrat and now he is more conservative, just like Reagan he said.

It is not about pigeonholes, about left and right, about Democrat and Republican, it is about doing what is right and that is why they are terrified of Trump. He will do what is right, he is not one of their Republicans told what to do by their lobbyists. He will get on well with Putin, he will end the waste of money on wars and the policy of backing radical Islamic Jihadis against a secular government that protects Christians. Kurds, Druze and Jews. They don't control Trump which is why they want to stop him however much it costs.

fourmummy · 26/11/2015 12:38

Claig you are way off the mark with Trump. It's irrelevant whether he is 'really like this or not' because all the world will ever see is the presenting aspects - and he just doesn't inspire confidence. People are voting for him because they are tired of the 'coached-up-to-the-eyeballs, I'll go into politics as a stepping stone before I set up my own foundation and make billions' types, and that's attractive - but he is just vulgar and offensive. I wouldn't want to have him as my boss or work with him as a colleague. I wouldn't enjoy talking to him.

claig · 26/11/2015 12:41

fourmummy, I agree that Trump goes over the top and says things he shouldn't say. But I am prepared to accept that just like millions of Americans are because it means he is not like the rest and will therefore make real changes that they will not make. I don't believe he will do half the things he says, but I believe he will do half of it and that will change the entire world.

claig · 26/11/2015 12:46

'he just doesn't inspire confidence'

Trump is a salesman, Inspiring confidence and presenting a positive vision of hope and growth is what he does for a living, He is a showman, he says "America never wins", he calls his opponents puppets and losers, he says he will "make America great again". That is what people want to hear, they want leadership that inspires confidence, leadership that backs secular regimes above Jihadis, leadership that will end wars that the American people have had enough of paying for, leadership that will rebuild America and make their lives better rather than improving the fortunes of the 1%.
