Dunno. I saw him yesterday at the hustings and I thought he was the weakest candidate, tbh. He seemed a bit too laid back and dispassionate to be really effective and I wouldn't fancy his chances at PMQs!

Not a big fan tbh. Some of his views on things for me are big red lines even though I agree with some of his austerity views.

There was a good decision on the Wright stuff the other day where one of the panel have him as their MP. They said he is a great MP but really not leadership material.

He has also been seen at BDS events I think. There was a picture of home at one tweeted by Marlyn Stowe I believe on twitter.

Too lazy to look up the quote, but he said you can't broker peace unless you have a proper dialogue going. Hence why he 'welcomes them as friends'.

No party is standing up for the values I believe in. Corbyn stands for those values (not 100%, but you can't have everything.) Like so many others I'm backing him because he is the ONLY candidate with strong principles, a social conscience and solid experience. I really want to face the 'Corporate Front' majority - which stretches across parties - with a real alternative.

If makes some of them rediscover what politics is supposed to be about, all the better.

It's certainly sending the right-wing elements of the Labour Party, led by the killer Blair, into a panic. Corbyn is actually the only leadership candidate to actually oppose the Tories, right-wingers like John McTernan, Tony Blair and Chuka Umunna have all waded into the leadership debate to attack him.

He was using 'diplomatic language' as politicians sometimes do. No, he doesn't support terrorism. He called them 'friends' because he wanted them to be involved in peace talks. You can see an interview of him on Ch4 about this.

He is talking about bringing some industries back into public ownership, but that raises two questions, one - where to get the money, and two - he can't renationalise the railway because its a devolved power.

When you say "he's not leadership material" does that mean that he isn't a lying cheating bastard who will screw you over as soon as look at you?

The others are just more little clones of any/all MPs no matter which party (any of whom will screw you over as soon as look at you).

I have no particular party affiliation. I thought of joining Labour in the last few weeks, simply so I got a vote, but I can't actually be arsed.

Few politicians take "diplomacy" as far as calling anti-Semitic, woman- and gay-hating terrorists "friends". I think there are probably good reasons for this.
But vote for him by all means. I'm a Tory voter after all. I'm not uncomfortable with 10 years of Tory government. Where the Labour party is now seems to be roughly where the Tories were in about 1995 - so consumed with mutual hatred between internal factions that it's forgotten its opponents exist. The advantage the Tories had is when they woke up they managed to despatch their no-hoper with speed. Labour can never get its shit together to do this.

Hardly! You didnt see the Tories gaining 168,000 new members in one day based on a leadership contender in 1995.
