now how did the toddler end up in hatfield?

\link{ news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/beds/bucks/herts/5255170.stm\here}

i mean, did he get taken, did he get on a train, how? was he actually left with relatives, or is he from hatfield, and was home alone?

Why would his 'mother' leave him to go on holiday?

southeastastra · 08/08/2006 20:07

very strange!

misdee · 08/08/2006 20:07

not judging her for going on holiday, just wondering how he go0t from north london to be found wandering alone in hatfield.

mummyhill · 08/08/2006 20:56

Read this at work. Really odd staory. I gather there must be more to it not yet released.

misdee · 08/08/2006 21:30

i will check the local rag in the morning for more details,

spursmum · 08/08/2006 21:30

And it's not like where he actually ended up is near the train station or anything. It in the middle of town so I reckon something dodgy is going on. But that may be just my suspicious nature.

misdee · 08/08/2006 21:42

where is dog kennel lane? is that near the swim centre?

OP posts:
Gingeme · 08/08/2006 21:55

Poor little soul. Something very wrong going on here. Keep us posted please?

misdee · 08/08/2006 21:56

will do.

OP posts:
spursmum · 08/08/2006 21:58

Dog Kennel Lane is up by Queensway health clinic. I was there today so I remember!!

misdee · 08/08/2006 21:59

thats a busy road!!!

OP posts:
spursmum · 08/08/2006 22:00

Exactly. Not near the train station or the Green line routes. Don't think there are any buses from London to Hatfield town centre.

misdee · 09/08/2006 13:10

mother has flown back

They reckon the bloke supposedly looking after him was using him as cover for a break-in. Poor lamb was in a terrible state when the girl who found him picked him up

UrsulatheSeawitch · 09/08/2006 13:13

Sun piece

desperateSCOUSEwife · 09/08/2006 13:14

she needs a good kick up her arse imo

thought more of her bf than her ds
stupid bint

how much more money would it of cost her to take a 2yr old
selfish slag

misdee · 09/08/2006 13:16

i've been on holiday without my kids.. doesnt make me selfish. she left him with relatives who should be looking after him, not taking him on 'jobs'

OP posts:
geekgrrl · 09/08/2006 13:17

how awful

can I be totally un-pc and say that I hope he'll be adopted by a family who will actually care for him?

desperateSCOUSEwife · 09/08/2006 13:19

misdee i am not saying that a person who doesnt take their kids on hols is selfish
but when it is to meet up with a turkish bf for a shagging fest
sorry that is a different matter
she is selfish imo

geekgrrl · 09/08/2006 13:20

she must have had some idea that the guy she was dumping her toddler on was a crook. I mean, c'mon.....

UrsulatheSeawitch · 09/08/2006 13:25

Well maybe she left the boy with someone else and the bloke borrowed him - but he was badly neglected even so according to the Sun piece (which is of course the gospel truth given the source!)
