I think we can dismiss the arguement that the Royals were unaware of JS behaviour. The links between MI5 and the BBC are shocking for someone like me who really hasnt had a clue what goes on behind the scenes.

Its already looking as though an unhealthy interest in children seems to be one of the job requirements for employment with the royals

The BBC will not be releasing all of the evidence it receives about JS. This really is an insult to everyone who is forced to pay a license fee. More secrets and more cover ups.

I can understand them not releasing anything that the victims don't want, but anything else is shameful.

POLICE investigating the Jimmy Savile sex abuse scandal have arrested an 80-year-old man from Berkshire today.
The suspect is being questioned after attending a south London police station by appointment on Thursday.

The pensioner is being treated as part of the investigation that does not directly relate to Savile, the Metropolitan Police said.

Don't the last few posts illustrate the problems with all this and the Lord McA issue? The speculation itself and naming can damage people concerned as others say something is implied, or no smoke without fire and an innocent person can have their name tarnished. I don't think it's fair to mention people's names.
