Is this now a banned topic on MN?
With the new arrests, and nothing being posted, I'm assuming it is.
Fair enough if that's the decision, I'm just curious.

Reading that Police thread earlier there was also something about a dog reacting to a ceiling, dont know if thats just speculation though.

Ponders · 14/08/2012 20:03

I saw that quoted in the DM, shesariver (in fact I think I quoted it upthread) - a dog indicated towards the ceiling, & its handler had to insist that they looked in the loft, because whoever was in charge said they'd already looked & didn't need to look again

without knowing every little detail about exactly what was done, & when, it's impossible to weigh up what happened, really Confused

icecold - there's no "science" topic. I think MNHQ probably thought that "Geeky Stuff" would cover things beyond computery stuff, though that's what that area is mostly used for.

If you want to start a thread over there, possibly calling it just "Forensic Science" or something like that, it would be a useful place to discuss generally what the procedures are in sudden death cases.

I did start an AIBU thread asking why a body wouldn't be formally identified also. But it really upset people, I was chastised and it wad deleted

Might not start another...

icecold - I can well understand your reluctance to start another thread anywhere on the board. Maybe I can do that - but tomorrow when I can put together something that covers non-specific cases.

Throttling the police over perceived incompetence is as close as folk can get to throttling the murderer, which is what folk desperately want to do (metaphorically if not physically). Hence why it's hard to let go & just wait.

I am a geek & just like puzzles, can't help but toy with them until I'm satisfied.

RIP Tia.

I am guessing from the deleted posts people thought same as me

RIP little Tia , thats the only sensible comment i can make

Viviennemary · 15/08/2012 22:30

I wrote what I thought may have happened but I didn't accuse anybody and my post was deleted so I don't think I'll be saying any more.

NickNacks · 15/08/2012 22:35

I made a factual post about something I saw on TV and mine was deleted (with no explanation either I might add).
