Personally I couldnt stay at home for very long. I stayed at home with ds till he was 3 and swore I wouldnt do it again. I went back to work when dd was 5 months.

I dont think that it's so clearcut that a parent should automatically stay at home because the child is the number one priority. Of course the child is top priority but can still be so with both parents at work!

Do you honestly believe women are here simply to serve their husbands?

Completely agree with your last post, LadyG. We absolutely should not give up our right to fulfilling careers.

Am still in shock over Beartime's post. I'm appalled that it was typed with sincerity.

When I saw your post of 10:25:28, beartime, I was sure you were joking, but after seeing the one after that I'm not so sure any more.

not just to serve their husbands, but that's their main job. Also look after the children and the home, be hospitable and do good works (as a lower priority)
