x-post with Ponders.

It's interesting that I originally posted the link to the bbc website at 16:27, where it basically said the same as it does now although it was updated at 15:08. But the DM didn't update until 20:41.

It seems the DM likes to print stories but doesn't seem to keep track of them.

StealthPolarBear · 11/08/2010 20:58

what is wrong with people?
Is making up a story about being thrown off a bus for breastfeeding the new black?

thecatatemygymsuit · 11/08/2010 20:59

isn't this like a weekly occurrence? Some deluded attention-seeker goes public with a perceived slight by a bus company?
Am sure I've seen about three of these threads on here at least. Time for an 'On the buses' topic maybe?

AnyFucker · 11/08/2010 21:06

a-ha

LynetteScavo · 11/08/2010 21:08

If a bus driver confronted me in this way, I would stop feeding...baby may start crying, and then I would let every body listen to baby cry until I reached my stop.

I would probably be crying too by then.

And then I would go to the buys company......

It appears she lies.

What a knob.

Typical, just when you wait ages for a made up story about a mum thrown off a bus for breastfeeding two arrive at the same time.

innocuousnamechange · 12/08/2010 09:53

Another one lying Shock
What are they playing at?
I give my finest cats bum face in her direction. For her conduct, and her baby name. Shameful.

cornsilk1010 · 12/08/2010 11:50

lol crackfox Grin

cornsilk1010 · 12/08/2010 11:52

I want to see a bit more imagination in the next made up thrown off public transport story.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 12/08/2010 12:13

I wonder if accusing busdrivers of throwing you off buses for breastfeeding is a new kind of extreme sport for bored women of newborns?

Wonder if the rules stipulate that the bus must have CCTV so you can be made to look like a mug when it comes out you are lying...

AmazingBouncingFerret · 12/08/2010 12:14

bored women of newborns makes absolutely no sense whatsoever... Confused
I knew what I meant.. Bored mothers.

GetOrfMoiLand · 12/08/2010 12:29

Right, now we have got that breastfeeding ban outrage nonsense out of the way, can we settled down and rip the piss mercileslsly out of D'Marion. Grin

AmazingBouncingFerret · 12/08/2010 12:36

He can star in a remake of Maid Marion when he is older. D'Maid D'Marion and his D'Merry D'Men! Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 12/08/2010 12:38

D'Maid D'Marion and his D'Merry D'Men

BoneyBackJefferson · 12/08/2010 16:29

the saga continues :

from DM

innocuousnamechange · 12/08/2010 16:31

Blardy hell, she wears earrings like that with a newborn grabbing at them?! A braver woman than me

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 12/08/2010 16:36

As the bus driver had to ASK the lady if she was feeding, clearly it was not that obvious ... ie was probably discreet

Morloth · 12/08/2010 16:44

haha gotta love bus cctv

what a fucking idiot

PerpetuallyAnnoyedByHeadlice · 12/08/2010 22:52

OMG those earings and that poor baby's name!!!!!

to answer the Q why do people not realise they are on CCTV on a bus - same reason morons try to rob banks/bookies without wearing any headwear/disguise - they are just stoopid!

as an aside, when teaching I once sat in on a headteachers meeting with the parents of a girl in my form - they were denying her bad behaviour on the bus, which she had been banned from using - it must have been someone else, who had said her name, they were lying etc etc - then out came the video and it was all there to be seen. poor woman was mortified!!

finefatmama · 24/08/2010 01:49

I was still trying to get my head round the 'pulled UP my jumper..pulled DOWN my tee shirt' bit. Haven't quite succeeded at it yet but then again I have turtle necks ones.
I like her idea about bf stopping wars in the middle east though. if only that was all we had to do...

FallingWithStyle · 24/08/2010 02:14

"I even went on the internet because at first I did feel a bit funny about it. It said that you can"

Dont know why but that made me rofl! ...it said that you can!! Grin

Have a vision of her kneeling before her pc "oh wise one, oh holy Internet...can I breastfeed D'Marion in public?"

Dial-up tone - then something sounding like Stephen Hawking; "Yes child. I say that you can".
