I am shattered too, think I am ill without having acknowledged with fluey sore throat etc. Dd's party today - VERY loud - cinema followed by party games general romping at home [went well though, even the dreaded cake which was surprisingly delicious]. Far too much went on this weekend, Palm Sunday would have been plenty but sadly it got sort of pushed out by secular stuff, end of term concerts, Beavers thingy, dd's outward bound course last week, meant party had to be this week etc etc etc...NEXT YEAR I AM GOING TO TAKE 2 kids to cinema and that's IT.
Ds1 is ill with sore throat and low fever, in a way I'm relieved because a) no homework to give in, b)I won't have to take him to Cubs tomorrow . Perhaps both of us can just lie low tomorrow.
Dh is equally shattered by dishing up meals to ditsy 8 year olds.
Done
cat sitter organised for hols
food in fridge for next three days
Tea I'm very badtempered too mostly . I do occasionally meet saintly people who are never cross, but there is always something that has to give even in their lives...and you invariably find they hae an ironing lady, as Wolf pointed out.
It's not true, though - sometimes I meet old ladies who haven't a bean have lived through tragedy who are always busy and good tempered possibly a different generation.
