Happy Sunny Sunday afternoon all

I am feeling a lot brighter and do you ant to kno a secret, I am off all my medications - so no Anti'd or sleeping tablets.

Wolf that is partly why the insomnia is back, but I will manage. I am so happy about it. time to try and be in the real world a little without the tablets, so we shall see.

MadDad says my temper is not as good, but he is proud of me.

We had a lovely day by the beach yesterday, cold but nice and this morning have made blamace and hung washing out and lots of family time.

So Star you were right the sun really helps

Sorry you are insane ruby! hope back to normal next week.

Tea good news about the meds. Well done! Tell madDad my dh thinks I'm a grumpy old bag (I am ).

Simply your dd is more than welcome here, she can sort my dd out!

star hope you had a good day in Essex.

Another busy day, PILs visiting.I popped out to the shop with Mum this am, when we came back dh, dd and ds were trying to sew with a kit dd had from her party .

We have had lots of fun with a fart cushion from dds party. I put one in every party bag so I'll either be hero or zero at the school gates tomorrow .

Evening all Hope you all had a lovely day and planning to veg out on the sofa now. Thank goodness they have built a new road the A12 the journey wasn't as painful as I thought. Had a lovely catch up with friends and met one of DH's old pupils who looks older than him He is also now a PE teacher. He had a photo of DH with the football team. Th phot was about 1983 DH didn't look any older than the kids then anyway.
Scatty I love my DS's parties just not the organsing & shopping bit.
Simply Hope you enjoyed you swim
TM yes the sun does help. really looking forward to easter & some bright spring days Must iron bits of Ds's uniform.
Remember to put ALL Your clocks forward.

I am shattered too, think I am ill without having acknowledged with fluey sore throat etc. Dd's party today - VERY loud - cinema followed by party games general romping at home [went well though, even the dreaded cake which was surprisingly delicious]. Far too much went on this weekend, Palm Sunday would have been plenty but sadly it got sort of pushed out by secular stuff, end of term concerts, Beavers thingy, dd's outward bound course last week, meant party had to be this week etc etc etc...NEXT YEAR I AM GOING TO TAKE 2 kids to cinema and that's IT.

Ds1 is ill with sore throat and low fever, in a way I'm relieved because a) no homework to give in, b)I won't have to take him to Cubs tomorrow . Perhaps both of us can just lie low tomorrow.

Dh is equally shattered by dishing up meals to ditsy 8 year olds.

Done
cat sitter organised for hols
food in fridge for next three days

Tea I'm very badtempered too mostly . I do occasionally meet saintly people who are never cross, but there is always something that has to give even in their lives...and you invariably find they hae an ironing lady, as Wolf pointed out.
It's not true, though - sometimes I meet old ladies who haven't a bean have lived through tragedy who are always busy and good tempered possibly a different generation.

swanriver · 28/03/2010 20:19

home was loud, not cinema..don't want to blame poor Emma T.
Star good for you! How was Chigwell as a district?
Scatty I did have one pyschological breakthrough partywise, I just gave one small present to each child - my fingers were itching to throw in more, but I RESISTED.

Starbear · 28/03/2010 20:36

My (black) friend was pouring scorn on her 20 year old daughter for using fake tan foundation saying that she didn't need a fake tan (daughter mixed) and that even the black girls in Essex have fake Tans! I like Chigwell and that part of Essex as the women know how to have fun. Surrey can be a bit snotty. I didn't see Lesley Joseph or any leopard print
Swan good idea re party bag problem

Wolfcub · 28/03/2010 21:28

tea well done on coming off the meds.

swanriver · 29/03/2010 09:30

Still got a sore throat,
millions of jobs to do before hols, but trying to stop myself getting worse.

getting v.excited about going to country for hols, just have to get ovver hurdle of packing an dhouse sorting before I go.
