everyone welcome (and yes I'm taking a flipping liberty starting the new thread )

Shhh.. I've printed off Flylady's Holiday Control Journal some stuff.
And written down who sent us Christmas cards so I don't forget anyone next year. Like I did this year.

I've been planning to do it since December though, so not that organised.

I knew writing 'Plan Christmas 2010' on my list would ensure that something would happen before August.

Note to newbies, such organisation is not required. Or expected.

Well I had some excitement this morning, finally plucked up the courage to phone the window cleaner which I have been putting off because I always feel like I come across as a bit dippy on the phone and I fancy him . He said he was just around the corner so came round shortly after, he remembered ds from old house and was chatting away to him . I'd said I wasn't sure I had any money so when he'd finished he knocked on the door and asked if he should come back tonight or tomorrow night for the money but unfortunately I'd found enough money lying around the house and so had a cog turning moment of deciding whether or not to pretend I didn't have a handful of money so he'd have to come back (I paid him there and then ). There is no access to the back other than through the house so he is going to phone me the night before he next comes so I can shave my legs to check I'll be in. He is so lovely! I am so transparent!

Wasting i think it is very sensible, even if it means just making sure something is done each month.

Feeling rubbish today. We had a long day yesterday and late night, with a bad nights sleep Have cancelled meeting my friend tomorrow (we meet every thurs) just so DD can have a quiet day at home, and i have some big jobs i really want to get done.

Tomorrow's list:

Hopefully have a good nights sleep and a bit of a lie in
Clear dining room (not too much in there)
Move DD's toys from the sitting room to the dining room (they are joined)
Organise the toys so they are easy to get out and put away
Go to library
Do horses
Cook dinner (DH has still been doing it)

If i can get all that done i will be well impressed with myself

Wore them to supermarket earlier today but haven't been able to find them since. Have looked in understairs cupboard, under furniture, in washing machine, in bin, in bath, in toybox. Where has ds hidden them????

Under the pram, in the shopping trolley, in the pantry, behind the door, outside, under the table... are you wearing them?

Failed today - at everything - housework, parenting, dieting, coping - the works!

When I'm really struggling I jut write a list of what needs to happen next.
eg.
make dinner
DS bath and bed
MNing

And then i can tick them all off, and write another one. I find it less daunting.

Agree with Wasting, if you have lots to do but really struggling write 3 things to do, go and do them straight away and report back. I could be doing this myself tomorrow
