everyone welcome (and yes I'm taking a flipping liberty starting the new thread )

ahh - no need to justify what stuff you put on your list over here.

I know there's now a huge mixture on here right from the "if I get all of the "essential" daily things done today I'll be happy" - right up to those that will get all their "daily" stuff done with ease.....and more - but just like making lists.

No justification required for why you put the things on the list

Well done Freakoid!!! That is loads! Can i have some of your motivation please?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 08/02/2010 19:24

I cannot understand why someone would be so nasty - and they are clearly a regular or at least know their way around MN well

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 08/02/2010 19:31

It is totally bizarre.
At least her list isn't on this page anymore.

Am in awe at Freakoid's done list.

ToccataAndFudge · 08/02/2010 19:31

lets just try and ignore it - pathetic and childish to say the very least posting it on here.

Fair enough start a thread asking "why" people do it, but posting that list on here just stooopid

PlumBumMum · 08/02/2010 19:55

What do you mean its still here, I can see it anyway!

Should I go read the thread, do I really need to get wound up?

I haven't even been keeping up with my lists lately I just like to come on and have a catch up,
and how many times have people started a thread saying their house is in such a state they don't know where to start etc,
and mn'ers point them in the dircetion of fly or us,

and DON'T KILL ME but have lurked on Fly and their lists are similar to ours, just a different bunch of mn'ers with strictor(sp) missions

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 08/02/2010 19:58

welcome AvrilHeytch

welcome back Trinity and if required, apols for baby sick on shoulder.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 08/02/2010 19:59

Alice I actually don't know where it came from! But breaking it down into little groups of 2 or 3 jobs and working through them in order (not getting distracted by other stuff that needed doing, oh apart from ds of course!) really worked well for me today

House is tidy, dc are asleep. Am I allowed a g&t? (always feel a bit like an alchoholic if I drink anything other than a glass of wine when I'm on my own!)

PlumBumMum · 08/02/2010 19:59

Welcome Lilred & Avril

Trinity welcome back

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 08/02/2010 20:00

Welcome Avril

I think lots of us have tried Flylady at one point or another and found it all too much!

FreakoidOrganisoid · 08/02/2010 20:04

Welcome Avril

And hi Trinity. That list looks plenty big enough to me And blimey, you are brave, think I would fall apart just at the thought of having to turn Neil's phone on

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 08/02/2010 20:05

Freak - you are definitely allowed a G&T!

Trinity - welcome back ((hugs))

Plum - if you read the thread it will make you see red, honestly.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 08/02/2010 20:07

OK! If I stay and chat here then I'm not really drinking alone am I?

JustKeepSwimming · 08/02/2010 20:14

FreakoidOrganisoid · 08/02/2010 20:31

Cool. Cheers!

(How presumptious assuming that Trinity is drinking from the bottle and that ali and JKS aren't)

TrinityIsFallingApart · 08/02/2010 20:35

I am drinking from the bottle
its the only way to fly

lisianthus · 08/02/2010 20:39

Hi everyone- I love the idea of this thread. I've bought and read the flylady book. Can I join?

One query: Do we have to do the shoe thing? The only lace up shoes I have are my boots, and they will not be good for my (seriously needing a clean) carpets.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 08/02/2010 20:44

Can I join you?
I had often seen this thread on the active page but never realised what it was about until I saw that awful AIBU thread.
I love lists.
I have a 7 week old DD and 3 yr old DS plus an annoyingly incontinent dog (long story!) so am struggling slightly.
I shall post my list tomorrow if thats ok with you all.
