Congrats to HMHB! Another little girl for the Slatterns 'gang'! And what a lovely name, too. Good that you didn't have to have ECS, only ventouse (although I imagine that was no picnic!) I had a failed attempt at ventouse with DS, didn't work as he was back-to-back & cap kept slipping off his hair! But I had had a spinal by that point & didn't feel a thing! This was after failed pushing & before failed forceps (ended up with ECS).

Alice, just think, with any luck it will be you soon! Have fun trying...

Norks, good that your DS seems to be a bit more restful. Long may it last!

Ali, yay indeed for not returning to work, but have sent email now & stupidly nervous as to their response (initially said I was going back, now finances etc mean I can SAH & hopefully work on getting some translations, worried about if I will have to pay money back etc). Anyway, hope you got your peaceful evening in the end!

Buffy for vivid dreams. I get them too, they can be so scary & disorientating, can't they? I always end up switching the bedside lamp on, as half-asleep I am convinced I need to for some reason, then go straight back off, reassured & wake sometime later to find lamp on! Often I don't even remember doing this! I think everybody else should own up to weird nocturnal habits too, now I've embarassed myself! Come on, let's hear 'em...

NorktasticNinja · 21/10/2009 14:48

That's great news jen!

It doesn't look like I've done much, from my lists, but I've moved mountains in the attic. Am chuffed! I've still got several boxes of baby clothes and rubbish stuff we boxed up before the building work to sort but that's for another day...

Just having a well earned cup of tea and I'm going to get cracking again. I still need to hoover in the attic and laundry area and clean the attic bathroom. I'm hoping to clean the laundry area too but I'm not sure I'll have time.

OOhhh CC thats a good idea must remember that for next year,
but I got loads of ideas to keep the dcs occupied a good site called family fun has ideas for all occassions

Jenduck thats good news about work, I'm a real worrier so its always a nice relief when there wasn't much to worry about

We're having cheap & cheerful dinner tonight, sausage, egg & chips

and dh is home early (to watch football)
so hope to have earlydinner
and kitchen all cleared up
dcs to bed early (sleepyheads this morning)
Organise myself!!

NorktasticNinja · 21/10/2009 16:05

I forgot to mention it, but I've been all day as I'm squeezed into wearing my pre-babies jeans. After 2 1/2 years of seemingly continuous pregnancy it feels goooood

I'm sure I'll have to diet at some point to get the last few kilos off, but there's no way I'm doing that until my weight plateaus. Many thanks to DS for extremely effective liposuction

It's not that I've ever been (or ever will be) particularly slim, it's just great to start to feel like 'me' again!

cikecaka · 21/10/2009 16:27

Right its half 4 time to set the timer and get a few more things done. See you in 15 mins

PlumBumMum · 21/10/2009 17:18

CC I need to lose 2 stone aswell,
and I have actually put on a few lbs, which when mentioned to my mother she kindly said yes I noticed
But I blame my thyroid!!

Right have hung up a wash
put sausages in oven

will put some more ironing away until chips need to go in

PlumBumMum · 21/10/2009 17:20

I keep a pair of cream levis dh bought me when I was 17, in the wardrobe, to remind me I was once very slim, even if it was 15 years ago
