Have just lost the plot with DD (1and 2)were colouring and making halloween decorations at the table. Told them to tidy up and they literally move things from one end of the table to the other, left everything on floor so I grabbed everything and fired them in a plastic bag and told them I was getting rid of everything. They watched me throw them in the bin and didnt even bat an eyelid. (went back out and took everything back in when they went out to play) I am just so sick of tidying up

JustBeBuffy · 20/10/2009 18:01

Oh CC - how annoying, and when they don't even care when you throw them out too, grr.

Just a check-up for both of us at the dentist, only DS1's 2nd one. He was fine, i was except they want me to go back and have a filling fixed, yeah well maybe one day....

Oh and after a quick look through the DLA form, i'll be ringing the SN HV to come round for coffee and help me, lol!!

PlumBumMum · 20/10/2009 18:16

CC that is definitely something I would do and then feel bad after, and worry about the dcs having crazy memories of their mumraving like a lunatic

I did it on Sunday night went mad and threw all their junk precious things in the middle of living room floor and told them to find homes for them or I would

Anyway off to do dinner and watch Home&Away

BTW CC has desperate Housewives started yet on RTE?

jenduck · 20/10/2009 19:05

Hi all, late posting today, first chance I have had!

Evening ladies

I got all my jobs done before I left the house this morning, I looked presentable AND I was on time!

Down at my parents now, they are out at chior and due home in about 30 mins so I must go and stick the dinner in the oven. DS was exhausted from such a busy day, didn't like bathtime as it was Mummy doing it rather than Daddy. He then got massively over-excited helping my Mum make beds, jumping around in the duvets and pillows. I only got him off to sleep 20 minutes ago!!! I was so hoping for a quiet evening on my own with a nice glass of wine and a book!

I have the wine now, very good it is too - thanks Dad! Thought I would pop on and say hello before I go and sort the food out.

Jen - yay for not going back to work!

JKS - well done on the dentist

Norks - hope you get some more sleep tonight

to everyone else and a in the direction of Flame's baby. Back with a list on Thursday.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 20/10/2009 21:36

Helloooo, its me, we're back!

Had baby Bethan Rose on Friday at 2pm by Ventouse after going into labour at 1.45am.

Will come back with more info soon. Currently perched on one bum cheek so mnetting not comfortable at present.

Hope everyone is good. Has Flame birthed???

Will check thread when I can.

Waves excitedly at HMHB aaahh Bethan Rose beautiful name congratulations

NorktasticNinja · 20/10/2009 22:02

HMHB. So glad to hear you and your DD are OK. Congratulations! Love the name.

Do you feel alright about the birth? It can't have been much fun. I had a ventouse delivery with DD and it took me quite a while to feel OK about that Wine is a good idea, I'm off to get some too.

Plum - good luck with the DLA stuff. They never make these things easy, do they [anger]

DS had a much better day. He's woken twice to feed since his bedtime feed at 7:30. I can live with a broken night tonight though, I've got an easy day tomorrow. Babies hey! Who'd have em?

DD's at nursery all day tomorrow and the cleaner is coming. I can't say I'm not looking forward to a more restful day!

It's one of the last times T (the cleaner) will be coming and I'm less worried about her going than I was. I think I'll cope with out things getting too messy/fithy, I'll definitely miss her though, and not just her cleaning talents. Mind you, we might be able to keep having her come once a month.

Left from today, I have:

One thing from 'other stuff' list
Change bed linen OUR ROOM DONE COTS/CRIB/PRAM TO DO
Dry re-dyed clothes
Tidy round before bed

Only going to do the last one, what with it being so late already. How did it get to be nearly 11pm?!

Gorgeous name HMHB soooooooooooo glad you're back, was worrying

cikecaka · 20/10/2009 22:17

Congrats HMHB, am thrilled for you, was getting worried but trying not to show it! Love the name

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 20/10/2009 22:17

Awww thanks everyone. You are so lovely.

Norks - Ventouse was so much better than the ECS. Was surreal and massively (understatement of the year) painful but an amazing experience as had such a good support team around me (Mum, DH - tower of strength, lovely midwife and great consultant). If it wasn't for them all would have been an ECS definitely. Never again though.

Best get off to bed!
