I was mad busy all weekend and the beginning of the week and was doing quite well, but the last 2 days things have gone a bit tits up and i am feeling knackered and i still ache from my jumping lesson on tuesday, looking forward to a soak in the bath with some Lush stuff this evening.

Had excellent day today. Little bit tired as did massive Asda shop for lots of survival food, cans etc. then hit mothercare and bought a few babygros in the sale and a couple of little outfits for the new baba. Have lots left over from DS but strangely not many in the smaller sizes and of course they are mainly blue.

Then got my toes done and a mini facial so can look down at my feet during the agonising pain of labour and think ' ah they look nice' .

Alice - I got a 'pink lining' one on ebay, I can't get the link to work at the minute, but it was one of those I linked to before. Brown/cream with no girly designs, no cupcakes and no writing saying yummy mummy or anything. It looks like a hobo style hand bag. It arrived today and I'm liking it . Can't wait to fill it full of baby stuff!

On a downer, I got a parking ticket today. The midwife was running late so my car was 10 mins over. I got to the car just as the parking attendant was printing out a ticket. I immediately burst into tears (the shock I think) and just couldn't stop crying. I was just sobbing as he was giving me the ticket and apologising as he was doing it. People were walking past tutting and swearing at him under their breath as I stood there massive and crying whilst he handed me the ticket. He was actually really nice and put a special note in his book that I was heavily pregnant and was late at the midwife appointment. I should be able to get it cancelled but it really shook me up and I only calmed down after driving to DS's work for a hug . Total hormone overload I think. Poor parking bloke must have felt crap all day!

Flame - Luckily we don't know who you are. Anyway, there's never too much information on our thread.

I seem to be doing a lot better since stopped work. Bump has stopped hurting and I've bought loads of stuff in preparation for the baby. I just need to secrete it about the house / chuck other stuff out!

I have now been left in charge of 2x3yr olds whilst DS takes our old woodburner round to his mates house. All the toys are out and they are watching tv as they play. They seem fine for now, just hope they carry on being good . Hang on they've both gone upstairs...

Hello everyone. I've got a poorly baby here, his cough that he's had for 10 days or so is getting worse not better, and now there is teething and snot as well. Another awful night last night, so we are all like the waking dead today. House isn't bad at all because I did a quick clean round on Thursday - only took me 45 mins because it was only 3 days since I'd done it - there is a lesson in there somewhere!!!
BUT - the laundry, argh! There are various piles lined up on the landing upstairs that need to go in, because the laundry basket is full , and now the nappy bucket is full too.

Also, DH has really annoyed me. We eventually persuaded DS to have a sleep earlier, and I went to bed too. Woke up when DS did to fine that DH hadn't been to sleep. Half an hour later 'I'm off to bed, see you later'.

Rant over, sorry

Flame - you poor thing. I remember this stage was soo hideous, fingers crossed baby comes soon.

Oh I hate coughs in little ones Ali - just always seems so unfair as they have no way to understand them.

DS has stayed awake so far, so we are playing Settlers together instead... I haven't seen it on a list of "things to make babies come" but you never know

Flame I love Settlers! DS is too small to appreciate computer games, so can only play anything when is he asleep and there is nothing else that needs doing - ie. not very often!
