It was only because I saw something on the home page that said something along the lines of changing your attitude towards your home and aid something about needing to stop thinking of housework as a chore and realise that it is your home and you would like it to look nice and I thought, oh yeah! Have actually quite enjoyed doin it the past 2 days, ds's allowing. It is a PITA to physically dry up though

lol. Relieved i have a dish washer!

My biggest challenge is keeping it up during half term next week. That is when the house normally ends up looking awful.

littleboyblue · 21/05/2009 22:41

hahaha

I've been quite lucky with ds1, I already try to get him involved with the housework. He puts things in the bin for me, he helps put his toys away befor bathtime, he helps me unload the washing machine and passes me the clothes to hang on the clothes horse, he turns the hoover on and off for me (not always when I want it), and on days that I cheat, he even helps clean my laminate floors with babywipes! Wonder how long it'll last??????

Not long! The novelty soon seems to wear off. Well, with mine it has. Even the promise of pocket money doesn't make DS1 or DS2 keep their bedrooms tidy.

littleboyblue · 21/05/2009 22:47

I'll bet. I can live in hope!
Right, must go to bed, hoping to have an hour before ds2 wakes up.......
Goodnight.
See you tomorrow
