Okay, I am clearly worrying way too much about this but there are only a few spaces left in the old thread!

(What do I think will happen if we finish without a new list? We'll just make a new one. Relax woman!)

Thanks to alicecrail for the title.

Please finish the old thread before starting on this one - there could be a prize if you are number 1000.

Good morning slatterns

Started feeling a little grotty yesterday with a sore throat, and by bed time my nose had filled up, and this morning i am aching all over. So i am feeling very sorry for myself, but hoping that it is only a 24 hr thing

List:
Feel sorry for myself
Drink hot ribena
Take paracetamol
Change DD's nappy (starting to get a little wiff of something....)
MN
Put a washload on
Go and get horses in (if i feel better)
Go shopping with Dh (if i feel better and he gets afternoon off)
Waitrose
Ride horses? (doubtful)

Have good day all

TrillianAstra · 26/05/2009 09:35

Just reading though, hope everyone had a good weekend. DP's sister plus boyfriend came to visit and we went punting (very Cambridge!).

Plum sorry your mum is being a pain - I really don't know how some people's minds work or what they think they are doing. She must mean well somehow, right?

HMHB well done the grapevine - are you glad nwo that everyone knows officially?

Alice - where did you go for lunch? Somewhere nice? Sorry you're feeling rubbish today.

The last lot of brownies I made rose and turned into just a square of chocolate cake. I think I did something wrong.

Can we have a kitten update? Or did I miss it?'

And a general 'hi' to everyne else

Today:
MN and drink tea DOING
apply for job at friend's work
up and dressed porperly
washing up
water chillis
supermarket? (if it stops raining)
bake cake?
lunch

Morning all,

See Alice you didn't do as you were told, if you had made brownies at least you would have yummy brownies to keep you company while you huddle up on the sofa!

Trillian they should rise abit but should be denser than chocolate cke, but thats what you get for pissing people off on mn

Only joking by the way I thought you were in the right, and understood completely what you mean't in your original post some people can be abit possessive over their unusednicknames
(I catch anyone eyeing up my plumbum I'll cut your hands off)

And Lucky is grand, got him some kitten food but he just licked all the milk from around it so will leave it for a couple of days, but he can use the cat litter tray so yay!

HMHB you get a tick, good girl

Right suppose I should do a list

dcs back to schooldone

PlumBumMum · 26/05/2009 10:25

JKS YOU DON'T HAVE A DOG

TrillianAstra · 26/05/2009 10:28

What, someone is cursing my brownies because I innocently wondered if they wanted it any more? MN is full of vipers after all!

Glad your kitten is doing well. Lucky is definitely the right name for him. (him? her? do you know?)

OP posts:
PlumBumMum · 26/05/2009 10:34

Lucky is a him/he/tom

Well my other nickname will be unused until 24 starts again and nobody is getting their hands on it, because she kickedass last night on 24 (reneewalker)

alicecrail · 26/05/2009 10:36

Plum I may not have made brownies, but i did make my plum tray bake which looks like the same sort of thing - has cream cheese swirled through it. I had some for breakfast

Trillian We were planning on going to cafe rouge but it was packed (as usual) so went to La Tasca instead yum yum. They have a new pudding that is chocolate fondue with strawberries, pears and donut twists to dip Sooooo good.

PlumBumMum · 26/05/2009 11:00

Ok you get a tick too Alice

TrillianAstra · 26/05/2009 11:28

Again? When have I ever upset anyone? I'm completely fluffy and uncontroversial.

I like your long list of washing Clairey - I did some yesterday but next lot I might list as all separate jobs to make my list more impressive.

Might go to supermarket on way back from invigilating. Pregnant friend is now friend-with-baby, ended up having a C section but all is well and has a little girl (don't know any more than that). So I need to bake her a cake and take round some nice food. Think it would be best to do a ring-doorbell-and-run-away job as I don't want to disturb them, just want to leave a card and some yummy food.

Afternoon all!
Had a fab time in Wales! Raining a little on Friday, then great weather til we left yesterday after lunch. It was fair day on Saturday, so lots for DS to look at, then Sunday we visited the Castle and went on the beach, then yesterday there was an antique fair followed by fish and chips and icecream.
I've been dozens of times over the years, but it never loses its magic.

I'm afraid I missed the homework assignment, but then I'm supposed to be on a diet so must be excused.
