Expect my dh might browse here too this evening when I'm out if he remembers what my nickname is - good job I put in yesterday's list that I needed to make it up to him after being snappy and horrid!
anything on my list that still isn't done, will stay not done now. It's the witching hour of 4 men in a bath and then meeting a friend this evening to sort out a party we're throwing for her husband. Serious stuff indeed! Have a good evening all, might catch up with you later depending on if I can stay awake.....I really ought to tick off "go to bed early" for once!

creditcrunchedmum · 28/04/2009 22:44

Just joined up and VERY annoyed to find that Titsalinabumsquash took my name! No, really - that's what my now late grandmother in law called me. Is there a mumsnet abbreviation for that one??

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 28/04/2009 22:45

Have you posted on the wrong thread?

FrankMustard · 28/04/2009 22:47

tittybumsplat?

FrankMustard · 28/04/2009 22:48

I'm going to pop my list for tomorrow down in a moment as have such a mad day tomorrow I'll be lucky to tick off "go on MN for far too long while neglecting to cook my dcs a wholesome nutritious set of meals"....
just going to squint at my filo to see what's required....

FrankMustard · 28/04/2009 22:54

tomorrow:

breakfast, dress, packed lunch, for everyone
school run
buy present for friend's ds
toddler group maybe
cook ds4 decent lunch as I'm out in evening and it'll save dh having to do it
put away ever increasing pile of clean clothes
post thank you letter to aunt
photocopy stuff for pta meeting
change bedding
phone sister about dates for visiting
do inventory of freezer and replenish low stock levels (sounds impressive, huh?)
tidy round before friends arrive with their small dcs to undo all tidying efforts
other sutff I can't think about right now. Need bed.
Night all

creditcrunchedmum · 28/04/2009 22:57

Mmm. No, my evil twin titsalinabumsquash posted up on this thread ages ago.

I can do lists. Honest.

JustKeepSwimming · 29/04/2009 05:46

Thanks everyone - he's fine, up early this morning to fill his nappy
don't know what caused it, his first one.
poss linked to ear infection/tonsilitis he has 2ish weeks ago. maybe the ear infection didn't clear up properly and he got too hot.
or maybe something else.
but initial bloods fine, oxygen fine, ecg fine.
more blood taken last night but they let him come home and will phone with results.
guess just one of those things.

not fun.

Muppets - i really hope something can be done you sound like you're being brave but down.
and well done to dp! (apart from the biscuit obv)

  • try not to freak out and turn into sobbing mess in front of ds1.....
wastingmyeducation · 29/04/2009 08:18

JustKeepSwimming · 29/04/2009 08:31

Muppets - snap, period here too - just when you think you have enough to deal with!

WME - thanks. a friend will collect ds1 from pre-sch at 12 and bring him home for lunch (have made his fave sandwiches ready for her).
will have to think about rest of day later.
she has a dc-free day as she's meant to be at work until 5ish so ok till then.

may have to get PIL up if it looks like Ds2 is staying in for longer.
