Mine needs straightening every time I wash it since The McClusky.

He will probably roll his eyes in agreement with them muttering about useless women (wouldn't actually blame me, but won't take the blame either iyswim). It has been in the car for him to take since Friday.

Ali it would look good but I can't get up the energy to make a start on the shepherds pie and the park looks like a no go as it is starting to rain .

TA I have very frizzy hair and can't be bothered with it usually but I chopped it all off last night after getting stressed with it it looks ok though thankfully (hides straggly long bits).

Those Philadelphia ones look delicious!!!

Boys ate cake & chocolate this morning so not much appetite for lunch. I tried to be good but wasn't really (that'll be another 3lbs back on if i'm not careful!).
Just told ds1 i'm having 'quiet time' in the kitchen as ds2 is napping so could he please go and amuse himself....and it worked ok so he's mostly watching cbeebies, oh well.

This weeks goals:

• pack for trip to parents (need lists!)
• go to parents (Thurs)
• sort out Easter baking to take with us (nests & butterfly cakes/fairy cakes i think)
• remember chocolate bunnies for boys to take with us
• friends coming on Wed (check timings & weather forecast-rain)

Ongoing:

• get to 8stone 7lbs (new low of 8,11)
• look up family tree stuff on 1911 census site StillDoing
• think about sorting out DH's photos
• dentist trip for me & DS1 (1st for DS1) - 14th April
• contact handyman re fixing kitchen light & other things
• get photos of family for new frames & hang them up
• put together climbing frame we were given last year Started
• plan dinners out doing
• clean carpets (either 'get a man in' or hire a cleaner & diy)
• get matching brass letterbox for front door

• contact neighbour to sort out fixing fence over the summer

ok still haven't done anything - apart from put my replacement SIM card in my phone, call 02 to get it activated and ring DH

About to use the loo (sorry TMI) and get some lunch for us all............then I may get on

CWWM & Flame I need to Straighten my hair too everytime I wash, esp if I let it dry naturally it will need straightened again next day and esp now its dosen't go in a ponytail anymore

Sorry Ali I too am supposed to be loosing weight for dds communion in May, so I really should have lost it by now as I need to get out and get something to wear (all ideas of lovely spring/summer dress out the window)

Yes TA it is very short now think it was my hormones or something .

Hahaha Not a chance ! No what ponytail on the head thing I just put it in pigtails and hoped for the best.

Luckily my sister is a hairdresser so she will be able to tidy it up .

Really stupidly excited to get our new 'family loo seat' today - with an insert bit for toddlers that would be so much better than the plastic insert we've already got. but....screw bit on one side has a wonky thread so the nut won't go on, grr. will have to go to a hardware shop at some point and get a replacement. really wanted it ready before friends' toddlers came round this afternoon. silly really
Ds1 still not even using the loo, but thought this seat might help.

MIL is doing a school run so will go collect ds and do a quick blitz before she arrives with dd at 3.20ish

The morning was nearly as stressful as i thought, but it's all over now, and i have had chips for lunch so that has cheered me up a lot.

wastingmyed Dh is staying in Doncaster's 3rd best hotel He text me to tell me he had arrived and that it looked a bit cold!
