It is still off in my home, but gosh it's cold today.

Upstairs is ok (boiler up here) with the hot water pipes giving off a bit of warmth. Yet downstairs is miserable.

It was ok to say, 'ooh i am going to wear fleeces etc...' when it was 12 degress, but 5 is slightly different non?

I CAN@T AFFORD IT and i feel like poo, for not being able to put it on yet.

god that is a bargain nappy addict he has said we r not haivng a electric heate rbut i would like one for upstairs he says downstairs we need to use the fire cos we r in credit with the gas company dunno if he is telling the truth but spose we could be cos we pay £50 a mth for the gas but don't use it much in the summer we definitly need the heating on upstairs 2night tho cos it is freeeeeeeeeezing had the fire on since bout 12 downstairs

can sum1 work out how much it would cost for me to run a halogen heater per hour if it costs me 14p a kilowatt please

Babyjjbaby, the £3.99 one linked to by nappyaddict is 800W That's 0.8x14p per hour =11.2p per hour. The one linked to earlier in the thread was the same (but also had a low setting of 400W which would cost half this per hour).

The latest fan heater linked by nappyaddict was 2kW so would cost 2*14p per hour or 28pence per hour.

ah right ok thanks it would be worth getting the halogen one then wouldn't it so i can put it on b4 i put bbay in the cot upstairs in the day just to take the chill off the room wished that site took paypal tho
