Really boring question but what is the best kitchen bin you’ve had?

I need a new kitchen bin, looking for recommendations.
The bin I am replacing is a Morphy Richards sensor bin.

Ideally not another sensor bin.

I realise how dull this question may be… apologies in advance!

Another vote for the Brabantia Touch Lid. It's almost 20 years old and still the same bright red it was when I bought it. It's 50l so the perfect size - worked when there were 4 of us and still works now there are only 2. It's had a new clip, at about the 10 year mark and as a PP said Brabantia send replacements for free. We have a spare. The clip was a bit dodgy recently so I took it out, put it through the dishwasher and it's working perfectly again!

I have the inside cupboard Joseph Joseph one which I love as it's mounted to the cupboard door and hidden away. It's smaller so you need to empty it more often but that doesn't bother me.

Brabantia touch open bin. We’ve had our 15 years, still in great condition. Cost £80 or something at the time, can’t remember exactly but I do remember thinking that’s mad for a bin but actually completely worth it.

I can’t believe how expensive many of these bins are! I thought £40-odd which I paid for my EKO bin was bad enough!

We have this bin, best choice for us so much nicer than seeing one whenever we go in the kitchen 😅

Totally agree with this, wish we'd of gotten one sooner. Had our pull out bin around a year now. Makes such a difference to the kitchen! ✨️

The idea of a bin on view is anathema to me.

We have a kitchen bin system by Blanco. It’s concealed within a cupboard. Highly recommend.

We have this one. I like it, but it, and the bags, are a bit expensive. I'm usually extremely low maintenance/frugal, so I am not sure what possessed me!

I have one like this too and I love it. I put recycling in the bottom bin (we don't have to separate ours) and general rubbish in one top half and vegetable scrapings in the other
