What a lovely ds you have Tort - I saw that thread, but didn't realise it was you.

I hope tonight isn't as bad as it sounds to me Bianca....we're full of proper Essex mums here. I've always been outside the "popular" groups though, and there is no reason why this would change at 38! (Would not want to be as vain and shallow as most of them seem tbh any way)

Tort - wow! Brave boy - and how confident he must be to know what's what this early?

DH now home. He thinks may be the pox too but as yet no blisters and only about 7 spots so we'll see what she's like later. Might explain emotional outburst this morning and need for 2 hour nap yesterday afternoon. She's chipper now though

Thanks jas and FGS

TheMadHouse · 02/05/2008 18:57

I was an oldie with the pox too. I have tried to get both the boys to have them, but they have so far managed to avoid. A little weird considering DS1 is imunosuppressed.

I had a really nice time with EHM a nd the lovley Ellie, she is a real sweetie and by the end DS2 was saying Ellie.

One downer to the afternoon was some bastard has damaged my car in the car park. major damage to the upper door pannels and the plastic side bits. I am so {angry]

But we are off out in 10 mins for the party so will chack in in the morning

Ludaloo · 02/05/2008 18:59

Tort you must be very proud, you sound like the pefect mum, and have probably put his mind at rest completely It is brilliant he can talk to you, and he seems a very well balanced young chap who knows his own mind

Bianca have a good evening and don't you worry about the cliquey ones!

I am very chuffed with myself ATM....I have just run 2.2 miles without stopping
I have to run 3.8 miles in June, so I think I am well on my way

I think that deserves a kitkat

Ludaloo · 02/05/2008 19:01

Ooooh I forgot you and EHM were meeting TMH glad you had a good day and Not so good about the car though! Can the insurance cover repaires?

TheMadHouse · 02/05/2008 19:05

Tort - I think is speaks tons that he felt he copuld tell you - what a great mum you are.

I would be well proud too.

We always said that we do not care what they turn out like we will love our boys regardless

TheMadHouse · 02/05/2008 19:06

Luda yes but 150 excess, we dont have that sort of money at the moment

FunkyGlassSlipper · 02/05/2008 19:59

We now have about 15 spots. None blistered yet. DD still cheerful.
