Still clearing out but having trouble keeping up with the count.

The easiest to count is the sales as there's a record on my phone on the apps so will have a count when I get chance. Already sold 7 items just today so it's easy to lose track.

I've cleared out my pyjama drawer and have a huge pile to go to charity. The tagged ones have been listed for sale.

Put my first listings on Vinted; a couple of kids sports vests that the DC didn’t like. Not sure how much I’ll use it as I tend to buy cheap brands and wear them until they’re falling apart, although my MiL does buy lots of stuff for the children that never gets worn so might try and shift some of that.

Not much else done here due to half term and general lack of motivation, so I’ve just binned a calpol syringe for today’s thing 🤣

I have been very lax on the decluttering with it being half-term and just wanting to relax..

I have finally got round to uploading books to Vinted and I now have 3 ready to be taken to the Yodel store tomorrow.

Not out of the house yet but I've sorted through all wardrobes and drawers in the house for outgrown clothes and now have about eight carrier bags of clothes put on one side. Half of them can be passed down and half are just going to the charity shop.

Was away a few days this week and have been busy so no major decluttering. I've posted an item on Vinted today, used up a couple of things, soft plastics and the blister packs for my meds to recycling points today.
I'm working all week so not sure how much will be achieved this week. Maybe I should do the 5 minutes on one area each day then no doubt something will go out.

Tomorrow I'll spend some time re-arranging my wardrobe .
It is "open plan" ( no doors as they weren't in stock and we haven't got round to buying any yet )

I used to do my clothes in colour order ( one side white opposite black and in between they were co-ordinated )
This wardrobe is meant to be in some sort of logical order but it isn't .

I need to put my heavy coats in bags to go in the attic .

I keep buying stuff online which isn’t good - still got a load of unopened clothes to try on in our bedroom. So making an even bigger effort to chuck! Can’t remember if I posted about DD’s craft drawers but the contents & the whole unit have gone. My boot is full of bags to go to the charity shop with more in the hall. I advertised some clothes on FB Marketplace & sold a White Stuff dress more or less immediately. Priced it too low though. Also sold a pair of bunny eggcups that had been gathering dust in the cabinet. DH & I cleared a load of DD’s things off the landing & she’s put some bits aside for her friends. I’ve booked a deep clean for next week so there should be more to go from the kitchen cupboards etc. Another task is to go through the shoe basket & shoe cupboard. Oh & my wardrobe is currently bursting at the seams! DH has asked DD & I to look through our coats as the rack in the hall is close to collapse! Got rid of a pile of magazines & there’s a load more on the kitchen table. Phew! It is cathartic!

@70isaLimitNotaTarget I used to do that - white, then in rainbow order, then black! I don't have any hanging space for my clothes at the moment or I'd go and rearrange right now!

I wanted to get to 650 outs by the end of February but progress has slowed. Stuck at 585.

Day 55 declutter - a cafetiere I smashed 😒 bit sad about that one but since it only got used once or twice a year I'm not going to replace it and see how I get on instead

Have had a busy week out of the house due to car shopping (took days of looking/test drives). Finally made a decision and paid a deposit so can get back to the much more important job of decluttering!

190 things out so far this year so I'm a bit behind. I'm going to concentrate on tidying up this week. I seem to have lost my travel wallet with some money in and my jellewlery so I do need to get things A bit more sorted out too

I’ve had a good morning. I’ve been working on my bedroom over the last few weeks as it’s constantly messy and it’s kind of led me to go through more wires, electronics and papers and sweep through these areas in the house again.

So today I have recycled and shredded a load of papers that were in my bedroom and done some filing in my study. They included all kinds of stuff like school reports and loads of information on dd1s senior school from 2019 and dd2s junior like menus, uniform info, forms, old homework. I don’t know how I haven’t chucked this stuff out before.

im now looking at a digital camera that belonged to dd1 before she had a phone. I’m going to attempt to download the photos and give to charity.

despite half term, seems like loads of you are doing really well.

I have tackled random shelves and got rid of some water bottles, bits to go with them, extra lids, etc.
and dropped off stuff today.

1. Hang up framed pictures: this has now changed to critically go through the framed artwork as we’ve agreed we don’t actually want all of it?
2. DS2 paperwork: blue badge started
3. my British passport application - upload paperwork
4. DS1’s gaming, PC, nerf collections to go through and tidy

Started trying to clean up some wellies so they could be donated. After 10mins of scrubbing and ending up seeing if bleach/detergent/etc would shift the grime, I chucked the - now rather soggy wellies - in the bin. Calling that a win on an otherwise rather crappy feeling day.

I went through ds bedside draws and threw out a draw of obvious rubbish. I have asked him to go through it all again. Not counting any of it as a out but it Freed up a draw for dd.

Must go to tip tomorrow to put rags into clothes recycling bin but feeling ill today

Day 56 declutter - an itchy jumper I really wanted to like but I just can't wear

Melted down all of the ends of the birthday candles into one nice candle - used up 15 or so but will count as one

Fell off the threat but took a load of toiletries on hols with me first week of feb then used them up.

last week we decluttered an entire bathroom.

I also rifled through my jumpers and got rid of a few.

and yesterday I had my surgery. Decluttered a whole left booby. That counts right 🙂
