Luda hope your friend doesn't have to try to long & hard for a baby.
tmh glad you are having a nice time with ds2

Ruby you never cease to amaze me with your talents!
They range from children's parties, to special boss like hissing at cats, to nappy cakes, to intearer decorating, to knitting! (the list is endless)You really are one talented woman!

EHM I am liking the book idea! That would definately show 'em!

Bianca Hmmmm I wonder what could be going on with your DD, she does seem a bit fragile at the moment. Maybe the business at school has upset her more than she lets on, and the comment by her friend might have upset her, which could be related to the way a certain child/ren are behaving around her at school??
I hope it is just a phase she is going through xxxx

EHM · 20/02/2008 16:12

I really like that range Ruby. A bit diffent to pastel blue which is what everyone else will buy!

Bianca, Your poor DD. I bought a book recently called The Highly Sensitive Child. I found it has helped me understand my DD quite a bit more. You might want to check it out. There are threads around the archives about it too.

BiancaCastafiore · 20/02/2008 16:27

Awww, I love those little stripy outfits Ruby Congrats to your friend, hope you do make it out to meet the baby this eve

Luda I have no idea with dd very difficult to see her like this so often. I'm seriously wondering about going to the doctors about her... Am worried my anxieties have been passed on to her Feeling really awful about it all this afternoon.

I have been tackling my utility room cupboard and have found 8 pairs of rubber gloves, 4 shoes shine gift packs (MiL gives dh them for Xmas and birthdays!) and all manner of other junk!
Also found a box of Bratz dolls a teenager handed down to me for dd a few months ago which I had put away for a rainy day. Think I'll give them to dd this evening

BiancaCastafiore · 20/02/2008 16:28

Saga have I let it slip! yep DS is Ed for Edgar strangley it really suits him.

I took advice to cut n paste my FLY routine rather than type it everyday. Thing is I'd typed them up ages ago for me...ooops!

EHM Radio 5 have said that where I live was the coldest part of the country at -9 Celcius last night. It has thawed now and I've poured a kettle of boiling water down it. DH will put it back together tonight.

I haven't planned anything for the interview yet but I have

Collected Ed
Home
Empty WM (which is discharging into the sink atm)
Take contents up to dry
Bring damp/nearly dry stuff down, load TD and run
Sent Ed to bed for fiddling with the Wii in my abscence (Went up to check and he's fast asleep The bad behaviour monster comes out when he is tired)
Fixed the Wii
Hang more washing to dry
Bring more down for TD
Put washing from TD away
Strip and re-make our bed
Empty DW
Clear draining board
Put away (while working round a DW and WM in middle of kitchen )
Check waste pipe for washer, insert boiling water.
Cuppa and slice of my rocky road crunch and MN time.

DH home in 30 so I'll catch up with the thread. BBL

Grouchyoscar · 20/02/2008 17:49

BTW EHM I live very near bewilderbeast BWB hope your pipes are OK

RR congrats on your friend's baby.

Must prep for interview

TheMadHouse · 20/02/2008 17:59

Ruby as a mum of two boys I hated the blue stuff and always went for brigts and other strange colours.

I love that range from M&S - it is fab and I love stripes.

Both boys are having a cuddle from daddy and I am going up to sort baths out, DS1 was a star for his nana today, he even went to the hospital to visit his great uncle who had a triple bypas on Friday and was really good - He is for everyone else

He is at nursery and I am at the hospital with DS2 again and then my mum is going to have him on friday and bake with him.

I will catch up with the rest after they are in bed.

ludaloo · 20/02/2008 18:06

Ooooh Bianca I have just been looking on your website....your stuff is LOVELY! I have had a quick browse before, but I have not really had the chance to go all the way through it all!
The duvet covers you point out look lovely, I would love one! When we have some extra pennies (Or I might see if I can put some aside)I think I might get one or two things.....will they be able to get to me all the way out here?
I love the baskets...the Bangla basket looks like an ideal fruit bowl type basket (much needed in this house!)
I like the look of one or two of the rugs too....and the throws! I could spend a fortune if I had it

Good luck for tomorrow GO

ludaloo · 20/02/2008 18:11

I can't belive how well made they all look....and how clever the people are who hand make them!
The batik duvet covers (I like the blue pattern one)are really quite intracate designs!

ludaloo · 20/02/2008 18:18

ooooh the Bukedo basket looks like a better fruit bowl actually and it is very reasonably priced!

ludaloo · 20/02/2008 18:21

Anyway...have to go and have a bath...and dream of lush furnishings

See you all tomorrow...god willing

EHM · 20/02/2008 18:32

go hope I didn't upset you. I know its been really cold. hope you are warmer tonight both you & bewilder. Also enjoy the rocky road crunch...yummy.

BiancaCastafiore · 20/02/2008 19:23

Thanks Luda my whole house is a show home to the products, we have rugs, bedding, cushions, baskets, lampshades, crockery... Of course we can send stuff to you (or I could bring it whenever we visit )

Dd seems to have sorted thsi afternoons upset and is very lively and high s[pirted this evening! She's sleeping in with ds tonight so I hope they won't take too long to settle.

Grouchy good luck tomorrow x

ludaloo · 20/02/2008 19:32

Had a bath, and DH still not home from work, so thought I'd sneak a quick 5 mins before the kids go to bed!
Bianca...I am very I can imagine all those lovely things in your house.
I definately would like to buy some bits and bobs. I LOVE the baskets, so might have one for fruit, and a couple to hang my spiderplants in...the makrami hanger brings childhood memories flooding back, as my mum used to make them, and had plants hanging all over the place! She used to make makrami Owls too, which used to hang on the wall.
I will add it all up and pester DH!

Glad DD seems in better spirits this evening

BiancaCastafiore · 20/02/2008 19:34

Luda I'm sitting here with MSN on if you'd liek a chat?

ludaloo · 20/02/2008 19:49

Shannaratiger · 20/02/2008 21:37

Evening everyone

Very quickly does anyone know where you can get 'in the night garden' wall stickers that you were talking about earlier?
DS is almost better. DD has now got chicken pox.
Hope everyone has a good evening and a good nights sleep.
Speak to you tomorrow
