I'm bored too. Need to get lunch ready for the kids and then they can go and play with their friends and I can have some quiet time My motivation is wearing thin now but I hope to find it again once the kids are out.

Spray cat with water if it is doing something you dont want it to do. They dont like it and associate bad behaviour with getting wet.

One other funny tale that sticks in my head...(and will definately stick in yours now )
We once both got grounded at the same time for running up the most enormous phone bill ever, as we took it in turns to phone each other...to try and sycronise This at exactly the same time down the phone!
(Not as easy as you think!)

we have done DS's nursery in huge jungle stickers, they were really easy to do. You need to let new paint dry for 30 days before you apply them though.

Well, DH has gone back to work, the fire is fixed and awaiting a good clean.
I have taken the voiles down from the landing window and stuck them in the washing machine, wiped all the curtain rail down, and all the window sill and edges, and polished the window!

I then noticed, as the light poured into the landing and stairs, a line (approximately toddler height) of chocolate/grubby finger prints along the wall, all the way up the stairs and then up the next bit of stairs.
Soooo I have had to wipe all the walls, and now I can't stop, because everywhere I look there is grubbiness!!!!

I looked for a butterfly, to do activities with the gardening club, and some very risky stuff appeared!

Well Fire has been cleaned out, relit and polised! The hearth was filthy, so that has had a good clean too the new glass looks great!

I have to go and get DS and DD1 from school shortly, then back to rehang the voiles.
I am glad I amused you EHM and Jas....god when I think of all the silly things we did as kids, I could write a book!
My friend is TTC at the moment, she has only recently married (I was one of the first amoungst my school friends to marry and have children, they all seem to be catching me up now though)
Her DH is desperate to be a dad, but I really cannot imagine her having a baby, she is extremly squeemish for a start, hates pain of any description.....also very career minded, but she is a lot of fun, and very caring so I think she'll do just fine

Me and DS2 are having a really nice quite day with lots of play and cuddles. The flying can wait.

I am going to make a fish pie for dinner and then back to more playing, we are currently on a Bob the Builder romp

I have cars stickups for the DS' room when the bunk beds arrrive. Will need to paint it firt. We are not a all matching sort of house, but DS1 currently has blue and red car curtains and we are going to use them and his airplane light fitting too. Pale blue walls.

Luda i think that we (fly thread)should write a book together called the secrets of the flybabies & other unusual tales. It will make us all a fortune & we can then put up to fingers to the anti fly mob whilst being fed grapes

Back from the post office ellie having late nap so I going to use this time to get on(i would much prefer to be chatting on mn)

dds friends mum has just rung to say dd is really upset and in a state over a (fairly harmless)comment her friend made I spoke to dd, calmed her down and she decided to stay and play longer but she is so sensitive to anything anyone says atm! She takes everything to heart and permenantly sees what's gone wrong rather than what's been good

I'm not making the best of my child-free time this afternoon, only another hour and I have to collect the kids!
