Morning shannaratiger - Sorry. I just didn't look properly for a new thread I don't always start in stive convos. That is why I try and link to yesterdays thread. I just go from my threads.

Noicing your lis, I must remember to put cream o dd2 or we will get (another) call to go into school to do it.

Someone suggested Doublebase last week, and I didn't respond (possobly Tibni?) I have it from the hospital dr on prescription. I love it, but dd2 caims that it (along with almost everyhing else) hurts

Shannaratinger · 08/01/2008 08:14

Dream how do you link from the old thread, is a much better way of doing it.
I use the Diprobase all the time is a brill. moisturizer especially as is free
You've reminded me I have to take a packed lunch for me & ds. I don't knows what, i really miss not being able to eat sandwiches for me.

FunkyGlassSlipper · 08/01/2008 08:17

Morning Guys

Chaos here today but am about to try and get on top of things.

DD1 has tummy ache. Has had on and off for about a month so now I'm a bit worried baout it and plan to take her to Drs if I can get an appt today.

Shannaratinger · 08/01/2008 08:29

Aaargh why can DD(4) not pull 1 toy box out to get at the one behind it and DS(1) can?

TheMadHouse · 08/01/2008 08:39

Morning all

DS1 had me up most of the night couging and being sick due to too much of it. So I am shattered, I couldnt get off to sleep either which doesnt help - too much going through my mind I guess. I did the mission at the weekend when I sorted the utility area (not a room just a corner - lol). I also had to pull out the sofa in the living room last night for the remote and it shamed me in to sweeping and moping it and the whole of the downstairs (cat fur everywhere), we have a long haired white cat.

Morning Routine

Up and dressed - Done
S&S - Done
Make Beds - Done
Empty Dishwasher - Done
Breakfast - Done
Wash Breakfast Pots
Hang Out washing/washing in dryer - Done
Sort out lunchtime meal - done
Get eggs and potatoes
Mum and Toddler

DS1 is staying at a friends for lunch and then for an hour so I can have my CBT in peace, as he no longer naps.

Hope everyone has a good and productive day

BiancaCastafiore · 08/01/2008 09:08

Morning all Hope your dd is ok FGS.

Just back from the school run - bit of a shock to the system!
Dd was very tearful about going back to school, I'd forgotten over the holidays quite how stressful she finds these transitional periods from holidays to school
Ds was very excited about his first full day at school so at least I know he'll be fine

I have some work to get done today as well as all the basic routines.

...better start with getting the breakfast mess cleared away....

ludaloo · 08/01/2008 09:53

Morning Everyone

Well, I left DS wailing at school this morning [sigh]
I really hope he settles soon!

I'm already getting stuck into the house, which is good as a routine is comming back again now.

Have to go into town to run a few errands for DH.

DD2 is aimlessly wandering round, I think she will feel a bit weird for a while too without the others all day!

better get a shuffle on!

tibni · 08/01/2008 10:03

Morning,

Having an exceelent morning. Got all my ironing done before kids got up! Feel quite smug! LOL

Hi Jas, could have been me that mentioned doublebase as dd was given it for the slapcheek. I was told it is the cream least likely to irritate. Its been good on dd skin. Good luck with your dd skin!

Well off to mates to look at her kitchen (she used the comapny we are thinking of having in) then a couple of hours at the gym.

Determined to get the mission done today - its one I really need to do!

BiancaCastafiore · 08/01/2008 10:04

Luda hope when you collect him he'll have had a good day Horrible to leave them feeling so

Janni · 08/01/2008 10:32

Morning ALL TMH - sorry about your bad night. Bianca - hope your LO is happier when you pick her up.

Am SO glad my two older LOs are back at school today and I managed to make the morning routine much easier by being better prepared.

To do:
Laundry away, dishwasher, yesterday and today's kitchen mission, two important phone calls.

Janni · 08/01/2008 10:34

And Luda - same for your LO. It's hard to leave them crying, isn't it?

Lazylou · 08/01/2008 10:35

Morning all. My routine has gone by the wayside lately, but not through not wanting to get it done, the builders are in ripping out and re-installing my new bathroom so there is dust and mess everywhere. Trying to keep everywhere clean and tidy is just proving to be a massive job so have decided to wait and until they have finished so I can really crack on with it.

ludaloo · 08/01/2008 11:04

Thanks Bianca and Janni
Its awful leaving him crying, he cried every morning at nursery too. I think he will do it at school too, but I am reassured he is fine once I have gone. its just a whole day is a long time isn't it

well, I'm on my 3rd load of washing,
Kitchen is tidy
I've written the minutes up for the last nursery committee meeting (I'm treasurer and minutes taker)I am having a break for a few weeks though, as DD2 doesn't start until February, but they need the last meetings minutes for another meeting tonight.
I've folded a couple of loads of washing

Just about to vaccum and then off into town

ludaloo · 08/01/2008 11:05

Ooooh must do the mission too, and what a handy hint there Kelly!

tortoise · 08/01/2008 11:16

Morning.
Luda I left DD1 crying at school too. I was expecting it though!
I did my 2nd jogging session after dropping DD2 at pre-school. (she also had a few tears but was ok when i left!) It went well but i really must get some better jogging trousers. Mine are too short and kept falling down!

Now i have to pull out the cupboard because i have had an email from someone who bought off me on Ebay saying part of the stuff was missing! I need to see if it got missed out/fell out in the cupboard.

tortoise · 08/01/2008 11:21

OH bugger! Bugger! bugger! i found the missing bit. What a dopey cow i am missing it out! Oh well, better go appologise to buyer again and get it in the post later.

tortoise · 08/01/2008 11:38

Time to pick DD2 up already!

BiancaCastafiore · 08/01/2008 11:39

oh Tort, it's an easy mistake to make and at least you have the part now to forward to the customer - it should all be OK

I'm doing data entry for work - soooooooo boring! I'm even finding housework to distract me lol

gigglewitch · 08/01/2008 11:45

i'm "working" (??) at home today so making the most of a chance to blitz all the kids stuff that has been left downstairs and re-patriate it. and i still have a shiny sink but a messy porch - again it only lasted two days

pukkapatch · 08/01/2008 12:03

still got shiny sink, but the laying out of clothes at night is too much

squatchette · 08/01/2008 12:29

Just a quick hello flybabes before i go and collect youngest from pre school.Have finaly got dd2 a 1-1 support worker so she is at school today until 1pm with her then i will do the afternoon session.

Should have got my house work done whilst i've had a couple of kiddie free hours but things are not going to plan.

The washing machines spin cycle is not removing the water and everything is coming out soaked .Any ideas what it could be anyone please? We also have water coming through the livingroom ceiling so am waiting for a plumber to come again (should have come yesterday).
I did get my admin done and i really must fly off to pre school now byeeee x

tortoise · 08/01/2008 12:30

Thanks Bianca. data entry now that sounds riveting!

Gigglewitch Lol @ your 'working'!

Pucca I don't lay out clothes either although i wish i had last night because we couldn't find DS1 a school jumper this morning!
