I'm not doing too well this week, as I work from home and have had a busy few days (files & paperwork all over the place, aargh!!).

however, I do have a shiny sink, and I've sorted out the dishwasher, drainer, done washing up, and have put cleaning stuff in the oven. Just need to clean it now (the worst part )

And all my food containers are all sorted already (did that a couple of weeks ago) which is a bit of a bonus

Have stacks to do.

Dr says DD1's tummy ache may be colic pain but she has to do a urine sample. So now I have to try and remember what I did with the potty when we stopped using it

Been on PC too long. Will go and get wahsing out of machine at least....

Hello ALL and big waves to Babysteppers and Newbies

I have been busy this morning. I have completed the morning routines and Undercoated the window surround and architraving in the frfont room. It's needed doing for oooo 5 years since the double glazing was installed. I just never found the time or chance to do it. With Ed out of the way I c an get the messy stuff out.

I'm annoyed as I got it done so quickly and straightforwards that I was finished in time to collect Ed if he was still in nursery. Why have I procrastinated about it for so long?

Also filled in the chips in the skirting boards for repainting too.

Better have lunch TTFN

tortoise · 08/01/2008 13:23

I just tried turning the DW on and it started up ok.
When i get back from school pick up i might attempt a full programme to see how it goes. Although i don't have a dry towel to mop up if it starts leaking again!

GO well done. Its amazing just how quick some jobs can be.

Luda I also had to leave Ed in tears today He had a rough morning, the kids next door were quite nasty to him when he told them he was in reception now and the little boy pushed him over. Ed fell on the wet pavement, ended up with a mucky hand and coat. Their mum just walked past, no apology or anything at that attitude.

So he was fractious by school time and when a teaching assistant trod on his hand he was distraught. Poor little fella. Well school havent called me back so he must be OK

EHM · 08/01/2008 13:44

ruby its a start

Grouchyoscar · 08/01/2008 14:13

EHM I think if I didn't find stuff to do I will go mad before half term! I've done my tasks and routines and I'm going to get bored [hmm}

I better do my bedtime routines early today. It's my wedding Anniversary today and DH is making an Italian dinner

tortoise · 08/01/2008 14:14

GO Happy anniversary. have a good evening.

ludaloo · 08/01/2008 14:31

Awww GO poor ED! And at the mum who said nothing...I would go baserk if any of mine treated another child in that way!
Happy Anniversary too!

Well I have an hour left before I have to go and pick the other two up. DD2 has been as good as gold ALL day! She has been very happy to watch tv/draw/play with her Peppa Pig house/"Help" me with bits and bobs! Without so much as a tiny scream or cry or tantrum! She keeps asking me where they are though bless. She calls my DS "Pah" Gawd knows why, his name doesn't sound any thing like that! and she keeps saying "Pah now mummy? Pah now Yeh?" I have been answering with "soon" all day!

I have tidied pretty much the whole house, and done all the washing!
Haven't done the mission yet, might do that this evening.
Must just hoover uptairs before I have to collect DS and DD1

ludaloo · 08/01/2008 14:52

There we are, upstairs all hoovered, including the stairs

I have booked myself on keep fit sessions beginning next Monday...6.15pm til 7.15pm

Need to loose weight, and tone those flabby bits! I was watching a programme about skinny celebrities the other day, aparently eating Baby Food is the new way to slim down if you are a celeb! [spew!]
Don't think I'll try that one!

Not a bad day as far as jobs, but as usual, feel a bit tired and irritable by this time and I had a disturbed night with DD.

Afternoon jobs: school pick-up and food shopping, DD meds., ironing

EHM · 08/01/2008 15:16

ruby tea with sandwiches & tiny cup cakes in baby pink & blue cup cake cases. Champers or Prosecco which is far nicer & cheaper. Gift table, guest book so guests can leave little messages for baby & parents.

EHM · 08/01/2008 15:17

ohhh maybe somebody to give pamper treatments foot massages etc. All I have listed is what I would have loved if somebody had thrown me a baby shower[sob]

EHM · 08/01/2008 15:20

make gift vouchers for each guest to give to mum to be. for example I EHM will give Mum to be 1 hour of my time for you to sleep, shower etc. Or I EHM will cook one meal for you & dad to be once baby arrives. Or I EHM will come & cook, iron & wash clothes do housework for 1 afternoon when baby arrives

EHM · 08/01/2008 15:21

sorry I am on a roll, probably no help at all. Again all things I would have loved when ellie arrived. I gave similar vouchers to my friend when her twins where born.
