what are you all doing to your sinks...you all seem VERY interested in shiny sinks.....some what unhealthily interested TBH.

Cappuccino · 25/09/2007 14:00

dissle if you are not shining your sink you are not Flying

I don't care how many loads of washing you are doing

get with the programme, woman! Where are your priorities?

daisyandbabybootoo · 25/09/2007 14:08

I'm a bit late today..but I did get showered and dressed (with some slap on!!) and babyboo was dressed before we left for the school run this morning (usually she's in her pjs under her coat!)

My sink is currently full of bleachy water so am having a cuppa while it cooks.

Is this all there is to it today...getting dressed to the shoes?

Oh, sh1t....the bathoom sink...do I need to do that one too?

SuperMonkey · 25/09/2007 14:09

It's just kitchen isn't it? Isn't it?

dissle · 25/09/2007 14:11

SHAME....

My names Dissle and im a filthy dirty ho of a slut who hasnt a clue how to shine a sink in the manner of a fly lady.

flowerybeanbag · 25/09/2007 14:12

at thought of having to do all the sinks in the house. I am working on the basis of kitchen only!

And is anyone else about just how revoltingly manky their sink was? Or is it just me?

I mean gunk round the bottom of the tap, yucky plughole, etc

I have also done washing today, and dishwasher. Routine disrupted by DH being home though - we've been out and about instead

SuperMonkey · 25/09/2007 14:14

Plughole was a health hazard - I thought it was meant to be black

Cappuccino · 25/09/2007 14:15

no it is only kitchen

bathroom is different thing will come later

believe me when it does you will be so excited, I have done this before

flowerybeanbag · 25/09/2007 14:16
dissle · 25/09/2007 14:18

W H A T ARE YOU ALL DOING WITH YOUR SINKS?

Cappuccino · 25/09/2007 14:20

oh for crying out loud

do you even know who flylady is?

really

SuperMonkey · 25/09/2007 14:20

Go shine your sink

flowerybeanbag · 25/09/2007 14:21

dissle cleaning our sink was the first baby step yesterday.

And when we say clean, we mean cllleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaann

Hence all the discussion about manky areas around plugholes and taps. I had to gouge mine with a knife!

dissle · 25/09/2007 14:24

oooh,
IM GOING TO DO THAT NOW....

I think that i would LIKE to know a bit more about flylady.

sink shined over and out

Flamesparrow · 25/09/2007 14:48

Oooh I love a bit of FLYlady bullyin!

Do you all know what you are having for dinner?? Decide NOW!!!!

Sink still lovely (only a few dishes been used and they are sat nicely in a bowl ready for me to attack them in a minute.

Washing on the line, some of the dining room attacked, AND my bathroom is vaguely presentable

I love it when I start up again, I have trouble sitting still and keep wandering off to clean something rather than MN

flowerybeanbag · 25/09/2007 15:06

I think I need to get out more. I keep wandering past my sink and glancing at it admiringly....

I am having salmon fillets with watercress sauce for dinner, courtesy of M&S

Flamesparrow · 25/09/2007 15:19

Oooh sounds niiiiiiiiiiiice. My mum is having salmon fillets too

I kept taking DH to see our sink when I very first started FLYing

SuperMonkey · 25/09/2007 15:23

I haven't told DP I'm FLYing - just waiting to see whether he notices (knowing full well he won't).

Flamesparrow · 25/09/2007 15:25

I couldn't contain my excitement
