Tort I think you can treat gall stones with either low fat diet and painkillers when needed or removing gall bladder. Good Luck on the 10th.

Thanks BE. I do find Rennie deflatine help if i feel a possible attack coming and hot wheat pack helps too but im not sure i want to put up with the risk long term. My main worry is that i have no-one for dd's. They would go into temp foster care i guess.

Im in Somerset, My parents emigrated to turkey. My sister lives near by but we dont really keep in contact and my brother is nearby but only 21 so not really trustworthy!

If the doctor recommends surgery, it might be worth talking to Somerset HA...PALS Department. They might be able to get you a private room for you and your girls (assuming your sons could stay with their father)
