Welcome one and all

I know all about flylady, think she is fab but at the moment feeling too emotionally crippled to cope with the emails, wearing shoes, the huge long threads, the pressure of doing it right.......

so no links to her please

I will get there at some point but for now

For whatever reason that you cry about your house or are scared to start cause there is tooo much to do.

Let s just whinge and try and do a little thing a day if we can

morning to all

Awwwww - Three months old

Kiff · 01/02/2007 23:53

Stop that! Stop it now!

I'm going to bed, and will not be thinking of the primordial swamp that is my kitchen.

Tomorrow is another day. Today my little girl did ballet, got fed by the happy clown and is sleeping in her little white bed ina tidy room. I've a clean conscience.

DS - I'm actually soppier second time around. Spent ages this evening looking at his passport photos.... until i caught myself, and thought "but you see him all day!".

Aww, I'm off to bed, I'm too mushy.

Goodnight y'all

JillybeansNW · 02/02/2007 09:16

LOL at primordial swamp.
Well, this morning:-

Good - Sparkly kitchen to come down to
Bad - DS2 has temp, so I have to take him to GPs at 10.30 as it might be infection from his op on Tuesday
See you all later

purplemonkeydishwasher · 02/02/2007 09:28

Morning All!

Jilly - HI-Larious thread! don't know how i missed that one!

well, the dishwasher needs to be emptied. and need to do some laundry. had some friends over yesterday and everyone brought cakes so i'll probably spend the day getting faaaatttt.

where the heck is trinity? somewhere out there screaming and pushing perhaps?!

TrinityRhino · 02/02/2007 09:41

morning all, sorry I haven't been on

still here with huge bump
my mum has come to stay and I have been busy teaching her about the car and what the kids eat and do and stuff so she can look after them when I go into hospital

sorry I made you think I'd popped, no luck yet, due tommorow, fingers crossed and legs uncrossed

hope you are all well

OP posts:
Kiff · 02/02/2007 10:00

{{hugs}} Jilly - hope all ok

JillybeansNW · 02/02/2007 10:02

Hi Trinity - Hope you are feeling OK and not to uncomfortable.
Has your mum got the hang of it all now

JillybeansNW · 02/02/2007 12:39

Well been to GPs and saw the GP I don't really like (saw her in April and she said there was no point in me doing a pg test as I had a coil - I was 19 weeks pg then ), and she said just give him calpol. I am just slightly worried about the possibility of infection from his op. Hmmm - I feel a different thread coming on...

Wintersun · 02/02/2007 14:10

Hi.
Sorry to hear your ds is not well. Your dr sounds like mine. I could write a whole list of the stupid things she's said and done.
Hope your ds gets better soon.
How are you feeling Trinity? Good luck!

Well, I haven't done much in the way of cleaning today. I cleaned up after breakfast and took ds out to the park.
For some reason, he couldn't sleep last night so we're all tired. He's been asleep now for the past 1/2 hr. I should have a nap too but am hoping there's a good rubbishy channel 5 movie this afternoon that I can watch. After I put some laundry on, of course!

Kif · 02/02/2007 14:17

its all those jif fumes you sniffed!

JillybeansNW · 02/02/2007 17:52

Oh balls. Have called alder hey cos his temp went back up to 39, and they have told us to bimble into AnE. No housework for me tonight or most of tomorrow I predict...

Kif · 02/02/2007 18:16

{{{hugs}}}}

JillybeansNW · 02/02/2007 21:59

Back from hossy (please say last word in appropriate l-pool accent). CHecked wound and bone and no infection (YAY), which means he is coming down with a coughy coldy lurgy thing (booo)

Never looked forward to a cold so much

purplemonkeydishwasher · 03/02/2007 12:50

oh jilly! hooray for icky gross snotty colds!! I'm glad your DS is ok!

JillybeansNW · 06/02/2007 00:09

Trinity may not be with us tomorrow

Wintersun · 07/02/2007 08:59

How exciting!
Good luck Trinity!

How's everyone else doing?

I have an ill ds today, don't feel too great myself and have no decent dinner-type food in so I have to go shopping.
I'm not looking forward to that.

Also need to get the hoover out and clear up kitchen from breakfast.

I was just thinking back to pre-ds days when if I felt ill, I could just stay in bed and watch tv all day. Bliss.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 07/02/2007 09:04

very exciting for trinity! i expect all her little bursts of effort will be used up by little bursts of poo etc for the next little while!

wintersun - i feel for you. my ds was coughing all night (though strangely slept better than usual...) and i'm stuffed up too.
I'm debating whether to take him out today. he's fine toherwise adn i know he appreciates the change of scenerey. (get's sick of my mug mostly!)

I did the washing up last night so i need to enpty the dishwasher, but i'm not planning on doing a whole lot else today. will definitly need to go out!!

Wintersun · 07/02/2007 09:28

They definitely enjoy a change of scenery. It is quite a lovely sunny day but very cold and frosty.
I'm wondering if I should walk to the supermarket. Its a good 30min walk and would probably do us a world of good but I feel so darned lazy today!

Its tough being an ill mum. Hope you and ds get better soon.

ItsMeMellowma · 07/02/2007 09:43

Can I hand my washing out in this weather? Will it dry or frost over...?

Thats my only little burst of effort today, apart from putting shopping away...when it/if comes.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 07/02/2007 11:03

i've had stuff hanging out since yesterday. not dry yet. it's too cold to bring it in though!

JillybeansNW · 07/02/2007 13:26

Afternoon. I have washing hanging out toon nearly froze my fingers hanging it out though. DD (almost 6 months) is FULL of a cold, no temp, but full of snot and not a happy bunny, so I am not getting very much at all done.
I was going to go to the clinic this pm but don't think we would be welcomed by the other mums and babes in the state we are in now.
Right - going to find the current trinity thread while DD is asleep and see if anything has happened. Then I will put another load on...

fannyannie · 07/02/2007 20:00

Right about to have a "big" burst of effort. I have 1hr 20 minutes to do the following

Light the fire (already prepared so shouldn't take too long)
Tidy the lounge/diner - perhaps hoover - but may leave that
Eat my dinner
Tidy the kitchen up - lots of cluttered worktops etc
Give the bathroom a once over -
Get changed for work

DH has a friend coming over tomorrow morning and whereas I'm naturally a "take us as you find us" type person - he likes things to be nice and tidy - so appealing to his better nature I'm going to make a big effort for him

MummyPenguin · 08/02/2007 14:20

Any news on trinity's baby?

ItsMeMellowma · 08/02/2007 14:21

Nope no news.

Do you not just hate is when they wander off for days to hve a baby...

JillybeansNW · 08/02/2007 14:39

Yes I do hate it. I mean - I am sure that she could chuck a nurse away from a computer so she could update us!!
