Welcome one and all

I know all about flylady, think she is fab but at the moment feeling too emotionally crippled to cope with the emails, wearing shoes, the huge long threads, the pressure of doing it right.......

so no links to her please

I will get there at some point but for now

For whatever reason that you cry about your house or are scared to start cause there is tooo much to do.

Let s just whinge and try and do a little thing a day if we can

The last few weeks are horrid!! Its enough to put me off having anymore, how lovely you are having a little girl...

I hung my washing out yesterday for the first time in ages...I have definately started a new trend as my neighbour is out hanging hers out now...which is a first as she usually waits until March, bloomin copycats

I love that bbc weather site. Not a lot happenign here today although I have a HUGE ironing there, to be done at some point today as I want to relax and watch CBB tonight...so I can shout at dumb danielle so no ironing tonight....

Hope you are all well

JillybeansNW · 29/01/2007 00:23

Mellow - Told you it was OK to hang out
DH cooked roast dinner tonight and cleaned the kitchen while he was at it ( how good is that!)
Clothes, clothes everywhere!
Trinity - look after yourself hun, I remember all too well that uncomfortable feeling, though mine all turned up early.
Right - off to bed

Kiff · 29/01/2007 02:32

hellooo

is this where you meet if you're using the baby chair as a laundry basket, and have food treding into your carpets? and has been exactly the same for three days?

TrinityRhino · 29/01/2007 07:29

welcome kiff

yes it is

But if you want slummy, I still haven't cleaned the smeared yoghurt off the kitchen fllor and I found the empty egg sheell from dd1 having dippy eggs under a pile of clean washing on the dining room table last night...................and the last time she had dippy eggs was about 5 days ago

come and join us to maon and try and get a little done sometimes

Morning to all, happy monday

Thanks TR - honoured to be in the club.

today... i cleared fridays newspapers and post off the table DD could eat breakfast at the table.

Actually, I'm going to spring clean - I 'flatlined' exhausted at the end of last week, and the house is beyond redemption filthy. Straight after this coffee... mmm... and a couple of biscuits...

purplemonkeydishwasher · 29/01/2007 09:34

Morning all! Welcome Kiff!

Well we're staying at MIL's. I CANNOT let her place get too messy. she's a clean freak. you guys have to help me get off my ass every once in a while!

anyway, the nice thing about being here is that her dishwasher is bigger than mine and her washer does stuff in like 15 minutes as opposed to the hour my stupid washer takes. so we're getting A LOT of laundry done....which means that there will be PILES of clean laundry that I won't put away.

the bad thing about being here is that (a) it's not home (i already miss my bed!) and (b) too many flippin' dogs! we've had a couple of no sleep nights due to night weaning the wee one and then last night the effing dogs keep us up! poor DH has to get up for work at 5am and around 4ish there was much swearing at the animals. we ended up playing musical beds until we were able to grab an hour of sleep.

oh yeah and our house isn't very warm so when we come to a porperly heated house we feel like it's a sauna! windows were wide open and we were all laying there with on blankets. it's like summer!!

anyway, enough ranting. hope you all have a good day.

trinity - if you want to borrow a dog for that yogurt i've got three that i'll send...

oh and kiff - have a couple of biscuits for me!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 29/01/2007 09:35

AND her house isn't baby proofed! whihc means I have to WATCH him FFS!!

TrinityRhino · 29/01/2007 09:44

'you have to watch him' rofl

thanks for the offer of the dogs but I better not I'd only lose them

been to the midwife this morning and all is well

my mum is coming to stay tomorrow so i'm trying to sort out a space in dd1's room for a bed, doing ok ish so far

got shopping coming tonight but we already need milk yoghurts(dd2's staple diet at the mo) and squash so will have to pop out later

could have done it on the school run if I had rmemebered my purse

nevermind

Welcome Kiff.

Well, I've hung out the washing (after consulting the BBC weather website). I managed to drop a pair of my trousers into the baby bath that still hasn't been emptied from last night . I just put them on the line with the rest though. I really need to put on a nappy wash in a minute. I really have to sort out DS2s clothes as well as we are off to ALderHey for a leg op tomorrow (his 5th or 6th, but really minor compared to the rest so I am feeling quite chilled about it). And this time cos I am still BFing DD, DH will have to be the one who sleeps over in the hospital tomorrow night on the really 'comfortable' folding bed thingies.
Hey purple - My MILs house isn't babyproof either, but I agree their dogs are really useful for clearing up food from the floor
Right - Nappy wash (appologies for long post)

Hi everyone!

I have: emptied dishwasher and refilled, done some shopping. Hoovered in kitchen after smashing glass onto floor.

Also need to:

Put away clean clothes (my least favourite job ever)
Sort out hallway (after huge arguement with dh yesterday about how disorganised I allegidly am...)

JillybeansNW · 29/01/2007 11:14

Hey Belgo - sorry to hear about the argument. DH wouldn't dare say anything to me as I would just point at the garage (his cave)

belgo · 29/01/2007 11:16

Jellybeans - this is it - he dared suggest I sit down all day watching TV! ( on mumsnet would be closer to the truth, but don't tell him that )

Gosh, I was so angry.

JillybeansNW · 29/01/2007 11:25

Also he wouldn't dare cos he knows that I would leave him home on a Saturday with all the kids and expect him to juggle them, the cleaning, the cooking and the shopping
I am lucky that he realised how hard it is.

belgo · 29/01/2007 13:02

Ha! I have cleared the hallway - now that was a big burst of effort!

JillybeansNW · 29/01/2007 13:09

DH has just returned home unexpectedly! I have help

(he wasn't trying to catch me out with a fancyman, his liftshares dd has been admitted to hospital so they were both sent home)

belgo · 29/01/2007 13:15

Thanks Jelly.

I have filled a black sack for rubbish,
Filled a sack for recycling,
Reclaimed a small bookcase to turn into a doll's house for dd1, (if I ever do that )
Discovered several items that had been declared 'lost forever', and best of all:
I can now walk down the whole length of my hallway!

JillybeansNW · 29/01/2007 15:00

Made DS1 unload dishwasher (Mua ha ha). Must go and hang out nappies now (it may be AAA rated but that washing machine takes 3 HOURS to complete a load [sigh])

purplemonkeydishwasher · 29/01/2007 15:10

THREE HOURS?!! bloody hell jilly! i thought MINE was bad. yikes.
i've started getting my ds to help unload the dishwasher. he's 16 months [evil mommy emoticon]

JillybeansNW · 29/01/2007 16:24

It is 3 hours forthe longest wash - the 'things are really dirty but we will still be kind to the environment' wash - which i always use for nappies

Kiff · 29/01/2007 16:26

got dd1 (nearly 3) scurrying back and forth returning possesions to their rooms of origin. Her reward? we'll play noddy 'pull back and go' car on the clear floor. bless.

JillybeansNW · 30/01/2007 00:07

Hey Laaaddiiieees (said in little britain style) - I am off to Alder Hey tomorrow, so won't be around. Of course I am still up waiting for the washing machine to finish now so I can tumble stuff that I was too disorganised to sort out b4 and writing lists of stuff that I need to pack before 7.15 in the morning.
Hope you have a great day tomorrow, and I will be back tomorrow evening
