Morning all this is as close as I am going to get to flying today.

Finished work at midnight went in and did my shopping (I work in a supermarket) Got home and put everything away to find that time had done a fast forward and that it was 2am. So dragged myself of to bed.

DS is teething and decided that 4.30am is the perfect time to start yelling. Have finally got him settled. Thank goodnes for milk, calpol and Sky TV Tiny pop is on from 13.0am so I can usually find something to distract him with. Just means I have to canmp out on the sofa till it's time to get up.

Need to try and get my head down now as I am back at work at 11.

Happy flying everyone see you Monday as I intend on catching up on lost sleep on Sunday.

Evening all, busy bunch aren't you .

Weekends will be mainly for low flying missions only.

Lazy morning, got dressed about midday, made lunch then kids and me got down to putting together the ikea wooden chest thing for there art and craft stuff. It was taking over the bookcase and needing containing. Decided the little drawer unit was ideal as they can lift out the box they need to the table.

DS hammered and screwed it together and DD started the labels for the drawers. Looks really good and tidy. Like this but with fantastic hand drawn labels . I have another one with long drawers for paper and 2 for me to keep all the akward things like light bulbs, batteries and chargers in.

squatchette · 01/10/2006 22:12

Same here HH nn to you too i'll be going off to bed myself soon.
Does anyone else find that at the end of a hectic draining day even though they're knackered you stay up just to enjoy the peace and solitude. No tiny voices demanding no more mess, 'accidents'or fighting etc? I just value this rare bit of the day so much i don't want to waste it by going to sleep too early.Daft really as i'm exhausted Sunday day of rest?Tell my todlers that.
Goodnight MNrs see you all tomorrow and thanks for all the encouragement i've had today.nnxx

Im more of a night person.Even if I go to bed early im normally awake till 12!!

jasnDISMemBERED · 01/10/2006 22:15

I'm up late too, despite the 5.30 wake up every day.
Popping in and out during ad breaks tonight though(Cracker)

I am a bit of a night owl too, agree there is something about the calm after the storm, but it gets a bit depressing once all the quiz TV comes on. Retraining myself to go to bed before 12 and chill out with a book.

Rediscovered reading a couple of months ago and swap books with MIL. I am devouring books at a frightening rate. I buy them from charity shops and now due to flying I redonate them all after MIL has read them.

I get really annoyed if DH comes to bed while I am reading, spoils the atmpsphere . After clearing up our room ,it is much more tranquil and the candles I got as a treat really add to it. Alnong with my furry throw and new lamps.

TortUREoiseChamber · 01/10/2006 22:41

I used to read alot but don't now.
I just veg out on the comp!!

jasnDISMemBERED · 01/10/2006 22:48

I can't read in bed any more, as ds is in our room. If the girls stay asleep when dp goes to work in the morning, I get an hour to read in bed in the morning before I get up though....bliss.

TortUREoiseChamber · 01/10/2006 23:11

Yes thanks.Keep forgetting to say!DS was impressed.Have cut a few pumpkins out!Just want to get into Tesco or somewhere and get loads of decs.Haven't even got enough for a loaf of bread at the moment!!

Skribble · 01/10/2006 23:27

Thats why I opted for Pizza Hut, no decorations or extra food etc. Keeping numbers very very limited. So just a cake and bags to do, bags will be cheap to do as thats one of the things I do for my business.
