i do...

tinshoes · 22/09/2006 13:12

I think a daily thread would be good.

Nice pic tortoise

Lol @ scribble treating DH like kids.

My DH just came home to make me lunch He could never do that before due to commuting but job change has its uses. He even tidies the kitchen before he left so all i've had to do is hobble around and unload/load the dishwasher.

Have barely done any FLYing in the bedroom this week other than 10 mins each night when DD in bath, because DD is still not well. But i have maintained my shiny sink, washing, and clean kitchen. And have been clearing hotspots as i go along. DH has noticed the difference - hurrah!

I am a bit addicted and sometimes wait for the emails to tell me what to do next.

IvortheEngine · 22/09/2006 13:14

Ooh, yes, me too!

I've been sorting out clothes upstairs and you should see the bedroom! There's a box of winterish clothes for e-bay, a bag for womens' refuge or similar, a box of summer stuff to be e-bayed next year, a bin bag. It's going great! Any clothes with marks on are being brought downstairs to be washed. My tops drawer is scarily empty as most of my Boden tops are now not long enough in the body and in the sleeves so I now have hardly any tops. Apart from Dorothy Perkins, does anyone have any recommendations for clothes shops which sell tops with a decent length in the body and sleeve, please?

damewashalot · 22/09/2006 13:20

I love flylady
inlaws coming this pm, this usually means I run around like a mad thing panicing but not today Can't pretend it's because house is sorted as it's not but I just set the timer for 15 mins at a time and moved room each time it went off and downstairs is now pretty good. I am calm, as I just kept doing as much as I could in the time and I now know that it must be getting better because it hasn't really taken that long as I've been entertaining and feeding a baby too
Thread too long so haven't read, hope all are doing ok, going to eat then might fly a little upstairs or iron

Quootiepie · 22/09/2006 13:29

llynnnn · 22/09/2006 13:30

Hi all!
Day 2 now and I've kept my sink shiny! When i first read about that I thought it was a load of rubbish but it really does make me feel better when i see it all clean! I've sorted my dressing table and made the beds, put a load of washing in, washed all dd's bottles and now shes asleep.
Does everyone wear there shoes all day in the house?? dont see how it would help me but maybe i should give it a try!!

tortoise · 22/09/2006 13:34

I can't do anything about it.Its her recommendation in her statement for court at end October.I know it doesn't mean all parties will agree but I feel they will.
Guess its my punishment for failing to protect ds1.
I would still have contact!!
I have boys tonight so not practical to phone when they are here.

crazydazy · 22/09/2006 13:36

Nope I don't wear my shoes, the one thing I don't agree with, think slippers are sufficient. My sink is shiny too!!!

Quootiepie · 22/09/2006 13:37

The boys want to come home. And they all know that! But they have to be sure they will be safe which i understand.BUT how can i prove that i will never ever go near xp2 again cos they just keep saying they can't be sure!

Quootiepie · 22/09/2006 13:41

Move away? Im not surre how to help/advise... Surely they cant punish you because of an ex...

tortoise · 22/09/2006 13:45

I was planning to move away but won't be able to if boys are with their dad because i have no transport and wouldn't be able to pick up from school.

He wouldn't come here.He knows it would cause major problems.I have an occupation order(think thats right!)which stops him coming in the house but that won't prove that he's not here when boys aren't.

Poor girls are suffering today!Mega grumpy/unhappy mummy!
