Thanks tortoise, Well I've hoovered and fed the kids and bfed the baby, having my lunch now then will go back to it, honest.

Did my 10 mins hoovering, and dusting, then did 15 mins in lounge de cluttering, not much to get rid of.

Love the shiney sink tho', on day 4 now, haven't put nots in kitchen, but have written down bed routine

Hope this is going to work, quite sad as enjoying it!

can you lot make me do it wihtout me haveing to get the emailes?

You could just look on here at what everyone is doing (or not in my case) and we could nag you. Although it would be sad to miss out on all the cheesey US stuff

ocd the emails are driving me slightly lopy too...I will do an hours worth of cleaning in 10 minute or so bursts, I will not bless my house!
Seems like, as with most 'routines' best plan is to do a bit of pick and mix to suit yourself .

jessajam I agree; for a start I don't buy enough magazines to spend ten minutes a week tidying them up, nor do I think my doors need that much weekly attention

but I do find a lot of it good

she obviously lives somewhere far more predictable than the north of england however; there's no way I could confidently lay my clothes out the night before; I'd always be completely wrongly dressed for the weather!

Yes, I think I could manage to choose trousers for the next day, but tops and stuff depend totally on what Sky news weather says that morning and the colour of the sky outside!

and you're right about the green sink cleaning; I just ignored her and grabbed my ecover and microfibre cloth

I have spent the last two weeks forcibly stopping myself from emailing flylady herself and asking her how much of her 27 items in the 27-fling-boogie she puts in the recycle bin... honestly couldn't find 27 non-recyclable items to trash so am a bit suspicious of her credentials in this area

but to mail her would be sad, right?

REALLY wanted to email her when I read that I had to tell dh what i was doing to "insure" he didn't make my sink dirty...."insure"? wtf?

So, the 27-fling doodad will now evolve into a 10-fling and 17-recycle boogie!?

Im going to have a rest then I really must put the washing away or it will end up being taken off my bed tonight and dumped in my clear space and i don't want that!

ocd-The emails are on flylady's web site ever day if you want to read them but not have masses sent.
TBH I just seem to be deleting them without reading them.

Been to Tesco. DD and DS now both have a little toy box for the lounge, so I can store a few of their toys (the rest is upstairs in DD's pit).

I DID do the lounge, but you wouldn't think it now... would be more noticable after the toys go tonight I think.

Been sorting oodles of baby clothes - people are gonna hate me when I start turning up on their doorsteps with sackfuls of stuff for them to store instead

Feeling very productive and cooking a roast for the first time in months!!!!!
